Well. Not sure they are open. 115p on a Wednesday. No sign. Seems everyone knew but me and the others that pulled in. Call ahead

Went there with my a few people from my family after seeing a tiktok post saying the food was great. I should have known the food wasn't gonna be good by the expression across the cashier's face when I said what brought me there. We waited for about 40 minutes to get to go plates. I ordered country fried wings, turnip greens and baked beans. It looked like naked wings with canned turnip greens and canned baked beans. None of us could stomach the food. From the moment I opened the lid of my plate, all we could smell was turnip greens. Decor was outdated and the tables were sticky. I believe that the cashier should be given a raise because she was so loyal that she didn't even try to tell me how bad the food was. That's some real loyalty right there, if you ask me. I will not be going back.

The spicy chicken sandwich is so full of great flavors and spices it makes you want to come back weekly. Their wings are also so good. I highly recommend Phifers

Forgot how good this place was! If you want some of the best soul food ever, I highly recommend. Very nice people running the place as well.

Ate there yesterday. This place used to be my go to b4 I moved to kannapolis. Food was hot and fresh. Wish I would have gotten the mac and cheese bcuz my cousin and brother loved it. 😍

Stopped by to pickup lunch for my friend's and I. Three - half a chicken plates with green beans, broccoli cheese casserole, steamed cabbage, & potato salad. Served with a roll. If you eat it in the restaurant it's better as the skin is crispy and delicious. But since I got it to go the Styrofoam trays steam it and the skin is a little more soft... but just as delicious!

I use to come here a lot with my mom and decided to come today and the only thing I liked was my fixings and my tea. I was very disappointed I got the Spicy chicken and the chicken tasted like regular fried chicken with a made up vinegarette sauce . The sauce definitely wasn't the sauce I've tasted before I the past. I definitely won't be back .but go judge for yourself this is just my opinion. Customer service was just fine.
