Ate there yesterday. This place used to be my go to b4 I moved to kannapolis. Food was hot and fresh. Wish I would have gotten the mac and cheese bcuz my cousin and brother loved it. 😍
Stopped by to pickup lunch for my friend's and I. Three - half a chicken plates with green beans, broccoli cheese casserole, steamed cabbage, & potato salad. Served with a roll. If you eat it in the restaurant it's better as the skin is crispy and delicious. But since I got it to go the Styrofoam trays steam it and the skin is a little more soft... but just as delicious!
I was visiting the area and I was looking for a soul food restaurant. The reaction my mother had when she first tasted the the chicken let me know we found the spot. The fried catfish and mac and cheese was off the chain!!! The food was excellent the people were excellent! God bless you!
