Ordered hibachi shrimp. It was ok. Some of the vegetables were thoroughly cooked but others were not. But I asked if they had any hot sauce and the waiter said yes , Sriracha. He brought a small cup of it. When I got the bill they charged for the hot sauce. I will never go back. Go to Katana and you can have a whole bottle on your table. Food average, charging for hot sauce, insane!
The food is great, the sushi is fresh and priced reasonably. The atmosphere is a bit dated, but the service and quantity of food are much more important to me that what the basic motif of a restaurant.
My family and I came here Friday evening. The host was so nice and upbeat. The service was fast and all of our food was hot and delicious. I think this sushi is the best in Statesville. The hibachi is great too. I definitely would recommend this place!
