Down home cooking

Tonight was disappointing to say the least. I have been here multiple times with my family. I'm not sure what the change is over the past year, but it is not for the better. When we arrived at 4:45 PM, there was no one at the front to greet us. A woman behind the desk, seated, asked if we had a takeout order. When I said we wanted to eat inside, she said we could sit anywhere. There were no menus or silverware. The waitress seemed new. I had to ask her for everything (menus, napkins, refills, boxes, to place our order, etc.). The chicken that came in our three pastas was cubed, looked frozen, barely cooked, and had a terrible texture. The chicken also had a pink tint to it. The sauces (alfredo and gorgonzola) lacked flavor. We ended up having to send our food back, and ordering again. No manager came to see us. I asked the waitress for recommendations, which she could not provide. Thank GOD for the warm bread and wings we ordered; otherwise, the meal would have been a complete waste. When we paid and left the restaurant, no one said anything to us. We won't be back.

Haven't tried the pizza yet but the Italian was good. My wife had the chicken carbonara and she gave it a shrug shoulders which is fairly high in her book. It tasted good to me but heavy for sure. I had the shrimp Tuscano and loved it. Looking forward to going back and trying the pizza

Can't even rate the food because we never got seated. The hostess had the nastiest attitude when we asked her why people coming in after us were being seated before us. We ended up walking out on Mothers Day and going elsewhere. Will never go back.

In the past eating at Sorrento's has been a pleasure to eat at. Google states that Sorrento's has changed ownership. If this is true, then it shows tremendously. 45 minute wait time for food, running out of items, and only allowed one round of bread. The waitress is fantastic with great communication, but the wait time and the quality of the food has changed in a bad way.

All though the pizza was good, l ordered a pizza with extra cheese sausage mushrooms and pepperoni there was no extra cheese very few sausage the pepperoni was ok l expect what l ordered l paid $33+
