“Great Place to Eat”

“AWESOME! Little Mom& Pop diner. We went for breakfast and I had two eggs oe and a 5oz hamburger steak with grits. My wife had the Western Omelet. My eggs and burger were cooked perfectly and the grits were nice and smooth. The omelet had sautéed onions and peppers in it which a lot of places just add raw veggies into the mix. It was done they way it should be and perfect amount of cheese. We got there about 8:45am and the morn rush was gone but it is a very small place with maybe a dozen tables and booths. We were thrilled with the service and my coffee cup was always full. Parkers is a place we will definitely go back to in the future. 👍😁”

“Food was great. Anna was also very nice and great customer.”
“The food options here are amazing for lake food options. I expected frozen food heated up like you'd receive from a baseball game. But it's real meat cooked to order. The problem is picking what you want. The servings are huge as so you definitely get your monies worth. I couldn't eat it all. I'll be back and I'll be sure to wear stretch pants.”

“They had a list on the door of the multiple things they didn't have. Mayo being one.
Employees were pleasant.
Too expensive for foot long and a drink. $15
No value.”

“We love Jeremiah’s and take family and friends for a visit every chance we get! Recently we had a large group of family visiting, it was getting late but we were craving a sweet treat. We made it to the drive through shortly before closing and the staff welcomed us and took care of our large order without any pressure or rush due to our timing. Was a delicious late night treat! Definitely recommend!”
“Best Meatball's! This place really puts the love into the food they sell and craft.”

“We had a fantastic dinner last night. My whisky sour was delicious! The filet was amazing and so was the tiramisu. Our waitress, Tiara, helped to make it a wonderful experience!”

“Our waitress Aryn was amazing, not as amazing as the food though. The coffee, waffles, eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and sausage were all made or cooked to perfection. The housemade jelly has the perfect sweetness. Especially for those watching there sugar intake. Enjoyed my experience immensely!”

“Visited with my son after taking him to urgent care. Staff was friendly, all items were in stock (we got one of every weekly item) and everything was good. Lost one star because the screens for ordering were so filthy. There should be a schedule for sanitizing them at least every hour.”

“I’ve been enjoying Village Tavern for over 25 years—whether celebrating with friends and family or simply stopping in for a casual meal. It’s one of those rare places where I know I can always count on a consistently great meal and warm, attentive service.
There’s truly not a bad seat in the house. The indoor dining area is cozy and welcoming, and I especially love the outdoor patio when the weather’s nice. The large bar inside is perfect for socializing or networking, with a lively yet comfortable atmosphere. It’s a spot that’s friendly to both families and singles, and the staff always makes everyone feel at home.
Some of my favorites include the fish tacos, meatloaf, and carrot cake—each one consistently delicious and satisfying. The restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and offers plenty of parking, which makes every visit easy and enjoyable.
Village Tavern has been part of so many memories over the years, and I’m grateful it continues to be a place I can return to with confidence and joy.”

“The bowls here are very good typically! I like the teriyaki but I think it could use a punch of brighter flavors. More herbs etc. The Staff is always very nice and speedy. Drinks are good but it is spendy. A treat maybe. Definitely check them out!”

“My mother-in-law and I eat at Fitz on Main 2-3 times the three days they are open each week. We love all the food we have eaten here...from the French toast, the Shammy, and omelets to the cheeseburgers, hotdogs, crispy chicken salad and more and can't forget those amazing desserts by Danette. We love the atmosphere, even the closeness and sqeazing by the bar area to get to our table. That closeness is the same you feel from the staff, the friendly faces and regulars you see each week. You leave here filling good every time! Thank you, Fitz, April, Irma, Danette, Holden, and Tiffany and Margie! y'all rock!”

“I have to come leave a message every time I’m lucky enough to get an item from here! We live about 45 minutes away but my daughter in law works nearby so for all of our birthday she treats us with a cupcake from here. Thankfully my birthday was yesterday so I’m enjoying a delicious birthday cupcake right now! Cupcakes are not an item I ever chose to order or eat HOWEVER, when it comes from here, I can’t resist! Something about the cake/icing flavor combos are unmatched!!!!!! I recommend this place to ANY that is wanting to enjoy a treat, give someone the most perfect gift or buy a bunch to impress the coworkers! You will not go wrong! I can’t say enough! Oh and to top it off customer service is top notch! 🤣🤣”

“If you’re looking for a winery experience that’s equal parts charming, confusing, and mildly feral—look no further than Stonefield Cellars. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a gang of chickens that were clearly going through an identity crisis. With their suspiciously featherless necks and judgmental stares, they strutted around like buzzards on vacation. I’m not saying they were plotting something, but I did hear one cluck in Morse code.
The grounds had what I’d call a rustic chaos—think “secret garden” but if the gardener was legally blind and using a weed whacker as a cane. There’s an ambiance of wild freedom here, like nature just gave up halfway and decided to let it ride.
Enter Cooper: the feline face of the operation. He’s friendly, fluffy, and the kind of cat that insists on being involved in every single moment of your wine tasting. Pet me. Look at me. Talk to me. Honestly, Cooper has stronger customer service skills than half the people I’ve met in retail. He deserves his own tip jar.
Now to the wine—decent, though the prices made me question if I was buying the bottle or a small vineyard in France. And just when I thought I’d be sipping from elegant glassware, out came the plastic Chinet cups. Nothing says “bougie on a budget” quite like swirling a $12 wine in what looks like leftover wedding receptionware.
To pair with this upscale picnic experience? Cheese and crackers from a plastic container and a box. And I don’t mean a charming little charcuterie kit. No, I’m pretty sure I saw a staff member emerge from the back with a box of Ritz and a Target bag of cheddar cubes. We’re talking “aisle five, near the Lunchables” level cuisine.
But to be fair—the staff was absolutely lovely. Genuinely helpful, incredibly sweet, and totally committed to making sure you enjoy your stay…even if you’re dodging buzzard-chickens and chasing Cooper off every five minutes.
Would I come back? Absolutely. But next time, I’m bringing my own wine glass, my gardening shears, and maybe a feather boa so the chickens stop trying to recruit me.”
