“Another night at what’s become our favorite diner EVER!!! We got to meet Cassandra ( don’t call her Casandra!!) the boss!! She had never met us before and we sat and talked for hours! She has such an amazing story and might be one of the best cooks that I ever met, cause she does it specifically with you in mind!! Our girl Jenny was there and waited on us and it’s like we’ve known them all for years!!! Go see em yall you will catch the same vibe!!!“

“We absolutely love the food, the patio, and the menu with crayons for kids. It is one of our go-to spots in town. My only suggestion is to check the bag before you leave (if you get takeout) and make sure your chips are there. We’ve had a few issues with chips missing.“

“Let me start by saying that I loved Khia of Japan when they were on High Point Rd. I recently found out that they were Oak Ridge now. So, I decided to place an order for pickup and man I'm so glad I did. I missed this Japanese food so much. I hate that they were completely empty when I arrived. I don't know if people don't know about it or what, but the food is good. I will definitely go back again. I will probably go today to be honest. It sucks that people don't know about this place.“

But then we took a chance at bamboo house skeptical at first that a small dated shopping center area would have good restaurants but Wooooooow ! 9/10!!! We loveeee the food!! We have eaten what feels like dozens and dozens of different chinese restaurants and buffets throughout the United states and the number 1 on our list is a similar chinese take out in new jersey that blew us away!!! But bamboo is a solid number 2 or 3 on our list. As long as we live in greensboro this will be our regular spot! Thank you for the delicious food and excellent service!“

Our server Jessica C was great, although she forgot about my wife's honey mustard, which she apologized for, she made my son a Baja Blast drink, not available, but she went the extra mile to make my son happy. The burgers and fries were great, and the appetizers were good. My steak was cooked as I wanted, but a bit chewy, still had good flavor. The shrimp were a bit overcooked for my taste and the mashed taters were bland. The boneless wings appeared to have been cooked hours earlier, reheated and served, as they were hard and chewy. We are not Applebee's people, but chose this location as we were close and hungry. Would we come back? Probably yes. Price wise, for a family of four, four entrees, four drinks and two appetizers, $110.00... not bad.“

Reviewers expecting high-end restaurant seasoning and taste are being unreasonable and should go to a high-end restaurant (with its salt, sugar and oil). C&H does what it does beautifully.

Vegetarian options: Large salad selection as you enter line . Greens and other items in cooked veggies section. Actually, the main problem is resisting non-vegetarian items as you go through.

“Last minute called in for a Pep Pizza and I must say this has been the most comparable NY Pizza I had and I’m born and raised in Long Island! Sauce and cheese ratio was perfect and the crust was crispy. They got it right. Absolutely will be ordering again. And receptionist was very friendly. From the moment we walked in, we were met with warmth and professionalism, and that only grew stronger as the visit continued.

Let’s talk about the food. Everything we ordered was excellent. The French toast was perfectly sweet with a delicate texture that still felt hearty and satisfying. The gyro was absolutely loaded…overflowing with fresh toppings and meat that was seasoned and cooked to perfection. It was almost too big to handle, but every bite was worth it. And the baked steak? “The Loop serves as a great midweek light meal option when I don't feel like cooking, but the whole family can't decide on the same take-out option.

With that being said, I do NOT recommend drinking the water here. Something is definitely not quite right. It tastes like melting plastic every single time.

“Ẁe were in town for the day from out of state and thought we'd give these guys a try. My husband's go to Thai dish is Pad Thai, and we've had this dish all over the country. He ordered Pad Thai Shrimp and the taste was way off. We informed the man behind the counter and he politely and swiftly offered and made him a new dish and it was delicious. Very impressed with the customer service and the meals. I ordered Hibachi Chicken and my husband switched to the same.“

“This restaurant used to be our favorite. Since the new owners came, everything has gone down hill. The egg rolls are smaller and filled with more rice than anything else. The fried rice is just tan rice with nothing else added. Any dish that is served with vegetables, now expect the veggies to be served raw - uncooked with a sauce over them. The thinly sliced chicken has a lot of fat and gristle. Even the hot tea (overpriced) has a different taste. The last 2 times I ordered the Egg Fu Yung - I was really sick afterwards. If I ever go back I will just order noodle soup with no vegetables or chicken. The waitresses are very nice but I worry about what goes on in the kitchen. Their sanitary rating is low so the kitchen can't be too clean. There are other Chinese restaurants in the area that we will be trying.“

“What started as a $4.15 Happy Meal on a road trip the day after Christmas, proceeding to hungry and very angry parents late at night after several other restaurants ended up being closed or refusing to serve walk-in customers, ended with a $40 meal and the angel at the Jake’s Diner drive-thru. I don’t actually know what’s on the menu, and honestly, they probably could’ve served Lunchables and I’d have still given them a four star review. Thank you for being open late the night after Christmas, thank you to the nice girl at the window for simply wanted 3 chicken sandwiches and fries, one spicy, and making it happen. The entire staff is friendly & aims for the ultimate customer experience .The bus staff works hard to clear the tables and keep the floors clean .The bathrooms are always kept clean also. And their pizzas & buffet bars never disappoints. The food is always fresh & good .Plus they have a nice arcade area set up to entertain the kids . “Always a great experience here, whether it’s to-go or in restaurant. We usually go for lunch and the prices are pretty good for a nicer sushi and hibachi place. The servers are friendly, great place for groups, and I would say as kid-friendly as a sushi place can be!

Lunch bento boxes are huge, and my husband enjoys the sushi as well.“
