After reading "lowest comments" ... Been coming to the Brunswick Islands, Holden Beach since 1954, the year Hurricane Hazel ripped this beach apart. Restaurants come and go like the tides. With Shallotte being just 10 miles down the road, good restaurant help is at a premium, mostly what they call summer help, especially kitchen help and waitresses. None of the Brunswick Islands restaurants are Martha's Vineyards by a long shot.Restaurants...
We have tried several times to eat here and finally made it.. but it was disappointing. Our waitress was friendly and pleasant. The food was not what we were expecting. My son got flounder and he said it was dry. I got clam strips and they were ok. My chips tasted fishy.my husband got oyster dinner and said the oyster were under cooked. Probably won’t be back. Very disappointing.
First time here, heard a lot of great things about the place and I have to say , it was amazing.
Dietary restrictions: My son is highly allergic to dairy, and they were great helping us.
Parking: Easy to get in and out
