?SKIP THE BRISKET?What a pain in the neck. Seriously, I might’ve pulled a jaw muscle eating this.All the other items that we ordered were good, or even great. The brisket sandwich though was the chewiest hunk of meat I’ve had in a while. It was more a wet beef jerky sandwich. I couldn’t believe it costed 50% MORE than the other sandwich we ordered.Things go wrong sometimes, and I can understand that, so I called the restaurant before I left this review, and you’re lucky I did, reader, because I wouldn’t have come back to this Google page if that conversation went differently!I told the person who answered the phone about my complaint, and that they oughtn’t charge so much for something that takes so much extra work to chew. The man told me that I ordered it wrong —LMAO. “Next time, order it lean,” he said. Hilarious!!? IF there’s a next time, I will not be ordering that! For the record, at this time, there is no lean or fat options listed on the menu. And I’ve never had to specify when I’ve ordered brisket before; it’s always been tender. The audacity of a man telling me I ordered it wrong! Nooooo, y’all made it wrong and didn’t admit the mistake. Miss me with that ish

I went here to experience Carolina BBQ; tried the Western Carolina sauce (vinegar based) and the South Carolina sauce (mustard based) and both were good on my brisket.I liked the South Carolina sauce the best. That strong mustard taste was delicious ?The brisket Mac n cheese is their specialty and was great. I see why people order it by the gallon.Loved the country music in the background and the super service.OMG, the hush puppies are the best I've ever had! ?
