Teriyaki chicken sauce needs to be more thick and flavorful. Hibachi steak is ok. Sushi is ok. It's an ok restaurant in a town that needs it to be great. Not many restaurants in Tabor City. This one has potential. They need a hostess and waitress to liven things up as well.
I noticed first that it was very clean in the restaurant. I was skeptical about the food after getting junk the last few times. It's hard to find good food that make you happy instead of satisfying a hunger. This is my first time and I hope and pray they keep they keep up the great standards. The food is better tonight than my last 3 times at toyko express. The portions are larger and the price was $5 less than what I pay at Tokyo

So came to Whiteville for a 5k race. When heading back to Myrtle Beach we went through Tabor City. We found this gem of a restaurant. On the outside it's not fancy but the food is fresh and tasty!The owner is friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. I loved the way he prepared the vegetables!This is a don't miss in Tabor City!
