Started with 4 hushpuppies ( I never seem to get them all in the picture!) The spiced berry drink was quite tasty. A little and I mean just a little on the sweet side. Crab cakes were good. Friendly staff. Gets crowded early for inside dining. Outside was nice.

My only regret is that we're leaving for home tomorrow and can't have dinner there again until we return.

Food was excellent as always. We always make it a point to eat here at least once during our annual vacation. The hush puppies are the best! 😋

I had the grilled scallops, Brad had the clam strips. Both were amazing and delicious! The sauce with the scallops was a ginger sweet sauce, perfect pairing! Got the salad with the house made ranch dressing- they really need to bottle and sell that stuff! Finished off with the key lime pie which we will definitely be ordering again and again! Must visit - it’s is literally to write home about!

The seafood was delicious and fresh. I took my Dad and we enjoyed the view of the river/water. Very relaxing time. Had to park a block away but worth the walk. Go for 5-6pm or you may have a wait. I will go here again.

I ate here with a party of eight people; three adults and five children. It was a slow night; probably 30-40% full We ordered one appetizer and then everyone ordered their entrées. The entrées took an insanely long time to come; at least 35min and closer to 45min. Again, we had kids with us that ordered from the kids menu. At the very least, their food should’ve come out in a timely manner. How long does it take to make fried shrimp and chicken tenders?
Anyway, the food took an insanely long time to come out. No Manager ever stop by our table to apologize or offer an explanation. Our waitress told us that the food is being plated right now, and it still didn’t come out for another 15 minutes.
When our waitress stopped by, we did order a round of drinks. After waiting for over 20 minutes, we attempted to cancel them, because they were taking so long. Again, the place was only 30-40% full. Six minutes later, the waitress brought over one of the drinks and said she couldn’t cancel it because they can’t cancel liquor. A competently run restaurant would have comped the drink and apologized for taking so long. This restaurant charged us for the single drink.
On the positive side, the food wad good enough. The crab cakes I ordered were good, and the pork chop another adult in our party ordered was pretty solid.
That being said, I wouldn’t return to this establishment. The service was simply too poor to put up with when there are other options available.

All the food here is fried. When I ask about the ingredients in the food, I was told that they did not know since it was flown in and not local. The hush puppies were tasty but again not made in house. It cost extra to have food steamed instead of fried. We were told that the restaurant was fresh catch but that was not true. If you enjoy fried food, you will like this place but if not, I would try another place to eat.

We waited an hour to get seated, then 45 minutes to get food. There were plenty of tables empty in restaurant but couldn't get seated? Then after waiting 45 minutes for food, the fish and shrimp batter were mushy, no crisp at all, and it was cold/warm at best! The french fries (definitely from a bag) were hot. I have a very good feeling they had made a bunch of shrimp and fish about 3 hours before then cooked fries and served the fish and shrimp that sat under a warmer for the last 3 hours. How did it take 45 minutes to fry food and why is it served cold and mushy? A bag of frozen shrimp in the air fryer would have been better than this. Will never see me again there!

Loved the food!!! Service was great! Just wish it didn’t feel like a cafeteria. View of the water was wonderful. We go there every time we visit Topsail. The breading on the seafood is so light and tasty! You need to try it first yourself
