“First time at Larry’s and they definitely did NOT disappoint…from the appetizers to deserts. So many outstanding choices on the menu that there is something for everyone. If you can’t find something you like… you need to not go out to eat. The atmosphere is relaxed family oriented. The servers were fantastic and friendly. We tried many of the menu items and they were all fantastic. Make sure you leave room for dessert. We will most definitely be back again and again.”

“My husband and I have been here multiple times over the last 5 years and tonight was so disappointing. The steak was the dryest piece of meat you could have imagined and the remaining entrees our table ordered were extremely underwhelming for the price. The "rack" of elk was two extremely small pieces for an astronomical price. A $400 meal that was overwhelmingly disappointing and was not a culinary experience as we've had in the past. Save your money and go elsewhere.”

“We were welcomed in like old friends and this was our very first visit. A cosy family atmosphere and in house made frozen delights. How do you choose just one flavor? You don’t. You by 2 quarts for the freezer and a freshly made waffle cone with strawberry and coconut. The flavors are beautiful and oh so creamy! My husband and I have now compiled the perfect food ‘flight’ on Topsail Island and this is where dessert dreams are made!”

“A quaint little place with a real hometown welcome feeling. Everyone seemed to leave with a smile, and I soon joined them. The biscuits n gravy were hot n delicious, the bacon crispy, and the service friendly. Can't ask for much more.”

“We are on vacation and this was a dinner we had on our must try list. We ordered online and it was ready when we arrived. The staff member was very kind and informative, letting us know each step to get this good stuff steamed up. They also provide printed instructions. I’m not sure which bucket we ordered, but it had shrimp, clams, crab, potatoes, sausage, kielbasa, onions, and scallops. It was more than we could finish at one sitting, but we look forward to finishing off the leftover shrimp and potatoes! I love that we get to keep the bucket and we plan on ordering for home delivery in a couple of months. It was so good! And fun!”

“One of my favorite things about being at the beach…is my surf city coffee on the weekends! Staff and coffee are always great, love that they support local artists and always fun to look at the artwork while getting coffee. Definitely the Best coffee shop on the island/area! The staff always makes sure the coffee is how you like it, and if you are not a coffee connoisseur like my hubby, they will help you find what you would enjoy.”

“Really enjoyed our dinner. Food was delicious and came out quick. A little odd how they do service online at the table and water, napkins, and boxes are all self service. It's not counter service but it's also not full waiter/waitress service either. But overall, we really enjoyed our experience and are glad to have a solid place to go eat right here in town!”

“Not a big fan of the chicken or the steak, both are too dry for me. The ground beef, pork and shrimp are great. Sunday brunch burritos are also great. Outside eating area is fantastic. Downsides are that it always takes a long time for the food to be delivered and it’s relatively expensive for what it is. I will keep going back, but if I don’t have 45 mins to spare, it’s not an option.”

“Breakfast and lunch- wonderful!!! And reasonably priced. Our family stops on our way out of Toosail Beqch every time and my favorite is the iced tiramisu latte- half sweet. Delish!”

“We have been coming to Topsoil for years and this is the one of two reliably good places to eat on the island, in my opinion. We've never been disappointed and always leave full.Ironically, never had their oysters, but their shrimp is delicious and we always, *always*, get the fries for the app.Dietary restrictions: Great with allergens to ensure no cross contamination on the menu. We've never requested modifications, though.Parking: Parking can be difficult during on season, but never any problems off season. Be careful where you park, because some spaces are reserved for specific businesses.”

“As always, it's a pleasure to be able to pull through the drive-thru and today after being waited on by an exceptionally attentive gentleman, I inquired as to what his name was... I was told that it was Savon, the owner. I didn't recognize him but he's just as kind and humble as ever. He's kept this bakery top-notch for years now and there he is hanging out the window. I asked if he wanted me to drive around as I hadn't called in my order and he replied that they'd already taken the orders of the 2 cars behind me. The Everything bagel was perfect and the bacon, egg, and cheese on the Everything was as well. You can tell that everyone is digging their job and tasks because of their smiles! Just a sweet morning at The Bagel Bakery!”

“Always look forward to being at Topsail and especially visits to unWINEd Bar. Great atmosphere and fun for the whole family including my teenage granddaughter (who loves the coffee). We enjoy the food, especially the ice cream. The thing we like the best is when Wes Rider plays music. We have gone to see him several times in recent years. He often invites audience participation which we love. Nothing better than beach with good food, good friends and good music!”

“We just moved here and my husband and I were looking for a bar near our house. The venue was awesome. Live music,...Sublime covers..so good though! Food truck was awesome and crowd was. 30s 40s. Drinks discounted for ems and fire fighters. But affordable even without the discount. People were friendly and welcoming. Come here.... seriously. It was fun!”

“Cool Country rustic atmosphere like general store. Pork snack excellent. Potato salad is really good like a deli with a hint of dill. Really good food and surprisingly inexpensive for the area. Good parking lots of room inside. Very friendly servers. Tea is good moderately sweet not sugar overload tastes fresh. Good portions of food. Good grade 97.5 at this time. Food hot very quick friendly service.Parking: Shopping center parking on two sides plenty of space during rush hour traffic.”

“Popped into the shop after I saw yummy healthy plants crossing my window while breakfasting at NY Deli and said to myself “I have to go there. These plants are amazing “ , so there I go. Found old books - which I love and collect, a plethora of plants, antique items, baked goods and an amazing selection of coffee! Bought some old fun books, Jordan Almonds - yum - a Pecan pie for the Easter holiday, which, sadly for my waistline, was the best pie I’ve ever had. The most fun eclectic, for me, purchase was potted lettuce, 4 varieties, that was so full and beautiful! Best part - as this potted lettuce is indoors, it won’t go to seed or bolt for the entire summer season. I have sandwich and salad fixings for the entire summer season and am never paying $7.99 for a lettuce bin for the entire Summer. Thank you! Best visit to a shop ever!! ❤️”
