Visited while on our family vacation to Topsail, and had the BEST ICECREAM EVER!! Homemade with love and you can taste that in every bite. Unique and delicious flavors unlike, unlike any ice cream you will ever have! Wonderful places. 10 outta 10 from this mountain girl!

The Four Cousins Ice Cream shop on Topsail Beach offers amazing homemade ice cream and a great selection of fun flavors. Guests can try classic vanilla, plain chocolate, salted caramel, salted caramel oreo, pistachio, pumpkin, blondie crunch, salted caramel crunch, warm apple crumble with a large scoop of vanilla, or a flight of pistachio, pumpkin, blondie crunch and salted caramel crunch. The care and attention given to every ingredient is superb and the owner makes the caramel sauce from scratch for each batch. Live music in the outside area shared with a neighboring deli makes eating ice cream in porch rocking chairs even more enjoyable. Prices are high but the service is friendly, pleasant and the staff are happy. Customers often describe the salted caramel as the best ice cream ever and the pumpkin as a close second. The kitchen is cleanest, organized and well run, and the owner even gives a tour to show how the ice cream is made. Unbelievable customer service includes opening the shop after closing, giving samples of every ice, finding newer flavors and even offering ice cream for free. Many visitors say they will come back forever and highly recommend this family company for both dessert and a stellar meal next door. The salted caramel oreo flavor was described as amazing delicious melt in the mouth creamy perfection. The owner also makes the most amazing cakes from scratch next door. The staff were pleasant and the windy rainy beach was fun.
