Food was okay. Not a fan of the grilled chicken (was slightly dry) or the pulled pork sandwich (not as tender as I would've liked). Hushpuppies are damn good, as well as the burgers and tenders. Employees were friendly, building was simple and clean. Loved the halloween decorations. Prices seemed good, we spent a little more per person just so we could try more of the menu. (I would suggest the average is 12-20 per person)
Love the atmosphere as it was clean and comfortable. The staff was polite and attentive. Admittedly I ordered the chicken sandwich at a barbeque spot but the meat was very dry.
I was on a grueling drive from Richmond to Atlanta; I was five hours in and starving! When traveling, I try to find local places, not franchises. Then I saw the sign, “BBQ Joe’s”. Perfect!
I now know this was the Trinity location and I had a bit of trouble finding it. WOW! Am I glad I did!
