“Super local and super friendly vibe. Been here several times, never disappoints. Always go with brisket - fatty cut and smoked turkey. Mac n cheese and sweet potatoes casserole for the win. This place exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it a favorite among locals. I’ve visited multiple times, and each experience has been consistently delightful. “Great food, great atmosphere, great service, and craft beer on tap! My family and I love this place. My only complaint would be that last time we were here, someone at the table next to us had a dog in a tote bag that was most definitely NOT a service animal. Not one staff member said anything to her. This is a problem for me as I suffer from severe animal allergies. In addition, I don’t feel it is sanitary to bring animals in an establishment where food is being sold/served. Like I said, we love this place, but if this becomes a habit we will have to find another place to go. ☹️“

It was like going back in time to my Aunt Hattie's kitchen and once again tasting good old country cooking at its best. We stayed on the property as well and found the check in process to be quick and easy, ALL of the staff were friendly and accommodating! Our room was very well stocked and clean!! “Tried this wing spot for the first time and it definitely lived up to the hype. Wings were crispy, sauced perfectly, and full of flavor. Fries were fresh, portions were good, and the customer service was on point too. Definitely one of the better wing places I’ve had in a while — I’ll be back for sure. I can’t remember her name but I think it was Holly, she even went above and beyond to help get my car unstuck across the street after they were closing. If that ain’t customer service I don’t know what is lol“

“Great home style cooking buffet. Plenty of seating was available even during lunch hour! Food was replenished quickly and offered a large variety of southern (and other) favorites... fried chicken and fried catfish, meatloaf, chicken and dumplings as well as spaghetti. Also have a large salad and dessert bar. Well worth the money and the time to visit. I will return!“

“We discovered this restaurant during a recent stay with friends at High Rock Lake. Delicious grilled shrimp and scallops! Portion sizes were large and prices were reasonable. Very fresh tossed salad with homemade dressing. We will definitely eat here again on our next visit.“

“A party of four go into Mayberry about 3:10 this afternoon! We waited about 5 minutes to even be seated! No one seemed to know what to do! We had to keep moving as we waited so that a lady could sweep! We ordered just banana splits and 2 ice cream sundaes! They were brought to us in a timely manner and that was it! Never saw the waitress again until I paid! My grandson dropped his spoon, I got up to get him another, no one at the counter! One waitress just walked by me to get out the door! No wait staff to be seen in the restaurant! Everyone was in the kitchen, talking! One lady was standing in the opening and I know that she could see me at the counter, but she chose to ignore me! I was ready to go behind the counter, but couldn’t see any spoons! After 3-4 minutes a lady comes out! We finish and get up to leave, no bill! I go to counter and wait probably 5-7 mins. Cashier has to ring up 2-3 ice creams and some man was trying to get his to-go order and he had been waiting a while! When the cashier finally ask me why I’m there, I tell her to pay my bill! She has no bill, can not find it on the cash register! She asked me twice where we were sitting! While she calls our waitress, she rings it up and I finally paid! Doesn’t give me my change back, I have to tell her what I gave her and how much change she owes me! First time in a long time that we’ve been to Mayberry and probably won’t be going back! Wasn’t very busy this afternoon, lots of employees just standing around/in the kitchen doing nothing!“
