“Not much in the way of table service or greeting when you walk in unless you're a regular. No fountain drinks. $1.25 a can. $2.25 a 2 liter. Tea is $1.50 a cup. I was with my wife Robyn so we opted for the $2.00 half gallon. After sitting for a few minutes a lady came up finally with two ice cups asked what we wanted. A greeting would be nice. 4 other tables so not busy. I told the lady I haven't been here for about 15 years and my wife never had. Still no information about the establishment or menu choices. We opted for the $4.00 salad bar and while fresh and cold was very limited. Building appears to be clean and in good repair. 96.5 health score. I'm told their crust is homemade. It's good and the pizza was hot and fresh, but the crust is so thin it's impossible to hold a slice without dropping it everywhere. Our "waitress " stood at the register playing on her phone while we waited the 27 minutes for our pizza. Service is very lackluster and mundane but the food is fresh and delicious. There is another building attached with video games and such for the kids. They host kids birthday parties as well and for a fee will put your kids name out on the marquee. Ceiling tiles are painted with murals. Come with cash in hand as they do not accept cards but have an ATM inside. As we paid another girl whom at just came on was very cordial and even smiled. Not sure why the other lady was so mundane. Half gallon tea 4 topping large pizza and 2 salads $27.00.Parking: Limited”
“Friendly staff, amazing food, and very fair prices. Come and check out this small town grill, it will not disappoint. Just be prepared to take your time and be patient, they don’t have a huge staff. But, the quality is worth it! Get the hamburger or cheeseburger all the way.”
“When we walked in we were greeted and sat immediately, which is nice for our family of 6. We enjoyed the crab dip app so much! We love the flavorful bread served with the warm cheesy delicious crab dip. I ordered my favorite dish Chicken Penne, and we also got a pizza. The kids meals are great especially the make your own pizza for the little Bambinos. This spot is a great place to eat classic Italian dishes made fresh and have a glass of wine. We also got our deserts to go. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was laid back and inviting. I recommend this restaurant if you're in the area and in the mood for delicious Italian fare.”
“Honestly I miss the original old fella that worked here , the crew made great food. The new crew is also wonderful just sesame chicken platter taste different. I started getting the shrimp fried rice and my son gets the famous “Bag of chicken” ✨?”
“This subway is pretty good. One of the employees that works there always doubles up on the meat compared to other subways. However, the gas station it's located in is really sketchy. Like one of those bad part of town tobacco and lottery stores. get passed that and the sandwiches are good subway quality.”
“This is a small town gas station restaurant, but it dose a decent job of keeping up with the demands of being one of few restaurants and by far the most affordable for the majority of the town. Service has always been hit or miss since I moved here in 2015, but in the last year has gotten 100% better. Food has been consistently good. Lastly the only complaint is no matter how busy or slow they are, no one is going to pick up the phone for a called in order. While annoying, ya just gotta accept it.”
“Laurie was an excellent server. She was incredibly kind and attentive. The food is always excellent and enjoy our visits every time.Kid-friendliness: Awesome kids menu.”
“Chef Warren's is without a doubt the finest in Moore county and one of the finest I have been to anywhere. Family run, friendly and outstanding menu expertly prepared in the open kitchen. Truly an exceptional culinary experience.”
“Food was pretty good.. Service was just as good...price was a bit on the higher end but don't mind paying a bit more if all the other services are on par...”
“Food & service was excellent. Sarah the server was very helpful with helping me with ordering being that I was new to this origin of food. She even adjusted the thermostat for me, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who’s looking for authentic Indian food.”
“Great experience and food. Highly recommend! We had an exceptional dining experience thanks to our waitress Sierra. She made the meal enjoyable beyond just the food, her genuine approach added a special touch to the day. I highly recommend her service!”
“Jaya’s (pronounced jā-uh) is probably the finest Indian food in North Carolina. I’ve been everywhere and the food here is spectacular. The service is super friendly and Jaya herself is delightful with a wonderfully infectious sense of humor. Will definitely go back again!”
“A hidden coffee gem with chic atmosphere and natural lighting. On a Monday morning, I strolled in with only one person inside. So it was quiet. The owner has a kind hearted soul. She was helpful on a difficult order I had for someone else. There’s ‘Coffee of the week’ which I will try next time I’m in town. If you are a Chai guru - this is a great place to get your fix.The bakery display was full with a few options to choose from. The coffee stationary was clean, organize and there’s a sign that says ‘no straws’ (save them fishes and sea animals)”
“This is a great place to take the whole family! There is a variety of food trucks, nice selection of beer, and a playground to let your children run wild. Also, live music and plenty of dogs for your kids to pet and give free treats too. Love the fire pit and atmosphere at Red's Corner.Kid-friendliness: Kids can play on the playground or the sandpit and are likely to meet new friends. Great seating at picnic tables for larger families.”
“My wife and I have been looking for a really good Thai Restaurant and I believe we may have found it. This was our first time at this location and we were not disappointed. Everything we ate was fresh and hot. The portions were a really good size and the service was great. We will definitely be returning to Mai Phi.”
“Absolutely love this place! Their food is delicious and it’s one of my families go-to’s. The Steak House Black Angus Brisket and Chefs Roast Beef (pictured) are divine. I also love the chicken crunch wrap. I should also mention that they have a drive through window for picking up to-go orders just that much more convenient. Five stars!”
“Swank is my favorite amongst the many wonderful coffee shops in town! The staff is so friendly and always brighten my day. The coffee tastes amazing and I try to talk myself out of a scone every visit, which seldom actually works because they taste so yummy! My little doggy likes to come in sometimes for a pup cup too.”
“There's not much of a food selection. It's mostly cheese and crackers. They have food trucks come by, but thats not food they serve. The bartenders are great, and there's plenty of seating.”
“This was my first time going to Chapman. So I ordered a jam bacon sandwich with cheese, letruce and tomato. The side was French fries and a pickle. Beginning with the burger, it was descent, but I had better at kick back Jack's, in my opinion. However, the fries were bomb and would eat an entire plate of them. That is how good they were. I think we went at a busy time so the service was very long but our waitress was very apologetic to us. Recommend this restaurant for sure!”
“Overall pretty decent place.. Had never done Indian food befor so we thought we would give it a try.. Turns out food was pretty good.. Be warned. It's got some spice to it so be prepared...”
“My favorite BBQ place ?. The pulled pork is juicy and a little spicy ?. Pairs very well with the simply prepared cole slaw. The french fries are better than most. But the thing I like best is the home made Brunswick stew ??. If you're making the trip to get some, call ahead first because it runs out often. Love ? the rustic and nostalgic atmosphere, charming.”
“The food is absolutely amazing, fast service, relaxing music and ambience. Will easily be coming back here again. Not good for a big family with kids. Recommend coming here with adults or for a lunch/dinner date.”
“My husband and I celebrated our Anniversary here as we always do and we had Cristy M as our waitress and she was by far the best waitress we have ever had, anywhere. She is amazing and I hope she knows how valued she is here.”
“Great service. The bartender was very friendly and welcomed me immediately as soon as I walked in the door. Broad selection of draft beer, and free tastings as well. Very chill vibe!”
“Cozy lil' joint! Great food at very reasonable prices. Staff were welcoming & on point with services.Saw a woman holding a newborn while working. That's crazy! She should be recuperating!”
“I love Spice Cafe but couldn't find them, after they moved from their old space, to make way for new construction. Just found them again and was SO happy!! I wanted to eat at the restaurant, but others came and went with their takeout. They share a building and parking lot and restroom with another business, but I still found parking spaces. They aim to please their customers.”
“This laid back place is a favorite of ours. The scones are absolutely delicious! The drinks are yummy. The place is set up with a cozy community atmosphere. It’s very cute!”
“I found Berry Bowlful by accident in West End back when it was just the truck. I used to ride all around looking for where they’d be set up. They are always such great people and the food is unlike anywhere else. Today we ordered from the location in Southern Pines and they did not disappoint! If you haven’t tried it, you must. The serving size for the price is equally as amazing as the staff and flavors. Thanks Berry Bowlful for always satisfying!”
“Have never been to Japan, but this is exactly what I envision a ramen shop in Japan would be like. The wife and I had some time to kill, so we decided to try it out. We both came away impressed and are looking forward to our next visit.”
“I had a peach smoothie, soup (chicken and wild rice), and half sandwich called the Haven. Everything was so good! I can't wait to go back with a friend or two and hang out for a nice lunch.”
