Dirty restaurant, restrooms were filthy, chicken had no seasoning, serving of red beans & rice had juice & no beans, rice was crunchy. Terrible experience. ☹️

Arrived around 1pm, no sandwiches, no tenders, no Diet Coke. Biscuit was hard. Chicken was okay. THE bathrooms were NASTY, no soap, no paper towels, trash over flowing on to floor. Had I gone in there first I would’ve NEVER eaten there. Needless to say that will be my last visit there on my way to/from beach.

this place is great! i won’t forget this ever! upon seeing the sign which read “Big Bok $6” i immediately laughed. what a nice play on words! get it, since it’s a chicken restaurant? when i walked in, i noticed the floor was very slick with strange invisible oil. i felt like an ice skater! as we ordered, the nice lady who took our order kept saying the things we were ordering either or broken or out of stock. they must have good taste and know what the customers like, since all of the things we thought were bad we were unable to order! like sweet tea, dr prepper, and their signature hot sauce! after ordering, i walked into the bathroom into the most creative and resourceful experience i have seen in a bathroom. other reviewers have mentioned the unique “roughing it” style, which i think is an amazing approach. it would be great for the youth to learn how to survive in the wilderness! the baby changing station had a buffet of all of the toiletries needed for the bathroom experience. the soap dispenser, a roll of toilet paper, and a puddle of water for me to rinse my hands in. after finishing, me and my companion sat down. the wonderful staff gave us 30 amazing minutes before we got our food to appreciate the beautiful masterpiece that the building was. the food was great. the staff was right about keeping away the other menu items we could not order. i am sure that the meal would have been ruined if i had the signature hot sauce! i liked how the garlic parm was a dry rub instead of a sauce. it reminded me of how they were out of almost every sauce the menu listed. The drink machine on the customer side of the restaurant was completely and utterly out of order, which is a good thing, since it helps you to reach your daily step goal to ask for a refill. it also helps you to burn off the calories the amazing, yet unfortunately unhealthy food earned by eating it. after finishing our meal with limited sauce, (which i am thankful for, since it taught me a moral lesson to be happy with the things you are given.) we headed outside, and i laughed once more at the “big bok” sign. what a funny joke! i will be sure to try that next time, and trust me, there will be a next time. this experience was unforgettable. it reminded me of the movie Saw, and i am a huge fan of Saw! if you like the movie Saw, this restaurant is for you.

Out of everything. Out of chicken sandwiches, out of drinks except iced tea and lemonade. Ignored us when we walked in and then would not except cash unless we paid with exact change only. Bathrooms were absolutely disgusting with broken soap dispenser, broken paper towel holder and broken toilet paper holder. Never experienced such poor everything.

I stopped here on my way back from Charlotte 1 hour and 30 minutes for them to say that are not making any sandwiches and they are out of chicken this is the worst popeyes I've ever been to I will not be back

Like alot of the other reviews they said they were out of everything when I went to pickup my order. When I tried to inquire how to get my money back, the asst manager was a total prick and very rude and threatened to call the police when I ask the name of the manager. The corporate office will be notified because professionalism and customer service is definitely not at this location.

Just like many other reviews have stated, this place is absolutely disgusting. The bathrooms are filthy from floor to ceiling and look like they have never been cleaned. Toilet paper dispenser hanging open so you can’t even sit on the toilet, soap dispenser empty with soap dispenser refills and paper towels sitting on the dirty baby changing table. I see review pictures from a year ago showing these same conditions and clearly nothing has been done. The food is probably the worst fast food I’ve had in my life. The chicken sandwiches were almost inedible - the bread was stale and the breading was hard as rock, the chicken was dry and had more breading than actual chicken. Through the drive thru window I could also see a full bucket of fried chicken just sitting on the floor. That cannot be sanitary. Beyond disappointing and a complete waste of $21. I cannot believe this place hasn’t been shut down by the health department, gross!

I placed order online. Ordered $16 worth of “food” mostly Apple pies that was stale. I had high hopes but oh my goodness. I pulled up to drive through she gave me $4. In cash back had a free meal I think I was charged for. Idk it wasn’t very good or fresh. The one star was for her giving me some money back. I wished I didn’t spend my money Saturday afternoon like 3:30 PM
Whoever’s the manager there needs to regroup that place. Sad for the owners who try to make something but the people who run it don’t care. Clearly by their actions. What a shame I spent my $15 there. I wouldn’t do that again.
