Del Rio

Went here because I haven't been impressed with Camino Real the last few times we went and I have to say I like Del Rio so much better ... I grew up down here and recently moved back and forgot how much I missed it !!

First of all, I literally traveled 787 miles just to have my favorite dish at this little gem in the middle of a small town in North Carolina, which is the chimichangas. I used to live here many years ago, and it was always my favorite spot to have dinner at. Wether I was alone or in a group of friends. Stumbled upon this gem while driving through NC on a recent trip. Being from South Florida, my standard for all things Mexican food is rather high, but I asked a local and they mentioned this place was "an oldie but a goodie. Boy were they right! What a little gem!
