Good service, nice people and cool lighting throughout the dining area. Food was not that great and expensive. Just bland, standard, run of the mill Mexican food. I'd pick ElVallerta or Hacienda El Ray before coming here again.
Taco Salad was fine and Oreo cheesecake was sinful. But look carefully when they bring you the check. Adela's is among a growing list of area restaurants passing the credit card processing fees along to their customers now. The check has a "cash total" and a "card total" that tacks on 3.7%. I bet most people never notice....and btw, the Tip guide showing how much a 16%, 18% or 20% tip would be is calculated based on the HIGHER Card Total so you're paying 3.7% on your tip too!

The food was really good, came out pretty quickly, and the waitress we had was very happy to help. I got the chicken and vegetables and the vegetable were fresh and chicken was well seasoned and the quest was delicious.
