Haven't been there in a couple years ..It was the worst food ever . Sent my burger back because they gave me half the patty Got a Hotdog instead it was disgusting I'll never be back

Best meal ever. Had prime rib and it was cooked perfectly. Love the atmosphere, very homey.

This is absolutely the very best hotdog I've ever tasted. I did get slaw, chili, and onions. THE BEST. I've eaten a lot of hot dogs. I also had the peach cobbler. WOW!! I can't wait to visit again and will likely eat all our meals with them.

Had a little trouble finding a place to park. Realized people were picking up to go orders, and if parked on the side, the waitress came out to take your order to go.
We went o side and there was plenty of seating. There are daily specials, so I order the Wed special, pot roast, and 2 sides. I picked green beans and slaw. A roll came with it, too. All for $10. Husband had hamburger steak with greens beans and roll. Salad bar was available and numerous other items. The food was delicious and came out hot. Peach and blackberry cobblers are available for dessert, but we were too full.
There are a lot of local folks there, as well as working men.

Food is overly priced... Double cheeseburger is extremely smaller than use to be . Could be cleaner. Heard fromex- employee they could smoke where preparing food. That's gross.

One of my faves..great selection of home style meals and sandwiches..you can even get curb service on the side, if you choose!

If you got time to wait thirty minutes to eat frozen food and never get a refill on your drink or even checked on for that matter than this is the place for you.

Ammons is a Waynesville Maggie Valley staple. It has been there I think my entire life and there's a reason people keep going back. The food is really good! They have a variety to choose from and we always get curb service.
