Food was not what I expected for the price. I asked for no mushrooms on my short rib Philly still had mushrooms on it. Burgers weren’t bad but the bottom bun was definitely hard and said it had ketchup and mustard on them they were plain. Fries weren’t nasty. I was trying to get my son a chicken tender platter but they don’t have that so I got 5 little skimpy tenders for 12 dollars and had to get a basket of fries for 6. Could have been a lot better especially for the price.
What a great way to celebrate Mother’s Day . Omg best Surf and turf .
This place is awesome. We stumbled upon it while in Waynesville. Wish we had something like this closer to Asheville. Definitely something to check out with the whole family.
Did not eat, we came specifically for beer and axe throwing. There was no clear signage on who to talk to to start, the girl who started us didn’t even tell us when to start, and the lanes are not great. Very short, boards are in rough shape, wood chips everywhere, we had to spray them ourselves. The axes themselves are flat punched sheets of metal with no edge on them, with lots of sharp edges and bits poking out that were chewing our fingers up. No coaching whatsoever, did not tell us when our timer started, never checked in with us. Decent beer/cider selection.
Best place for kids and adults on a rainy day! Bounce house and arcade not to mention the axe throwing. Don't sleep on this place.
We enjoyed the atmosphere, the food was really good and the staff was very friendly. Although we did not have any kids with us it would be a great place for family's. We will be back.
I can honestly say they have it right. The food is on point, a great mix of offerings apps, salads, sandwiches, and entrees. No matter what you're in the mood for, they have it. The burgers are 🔥, mac and cheese is the best anywhere...promise. The hot chicken is GAS and the steak frites... perfection and only $20. It's bar service but they bring your food to you. Huge beer selection and liquor, too, if that is what you're looking for. There are some cool cocktails on tap as well. Everyone is smiling and having fun. And then there are all the things to do: the simulator room, axe throwing, pool, video game arcade, corn hole, bounce house for the kids...
So much fun to be had here, truly a must try.
I contacted Assembly on Main about hosting a dinner/drinks event for guests arriving in the area for my wedding. I hadn't been there before (I live out of town), so admittedly I was unsure what to expect. While it was stressful at times trying to plan this function while being in a different state, Dan was very helpful in figuring things out with us. When we arrived, everything was perfectly squared away. They had a separate area near the axe-throwing section which was perfect for a party of 30 (and could certainly accommodate many more folks). The axe-throwing rooms themselves were a hit with our family and friends. The array of games offered made this an amazingly family-friendly environment that our nieces and nephews enjoyed, while the establishment also boasts a great selection of adult beverages that make this far different than what you might find at a Dave & Busters. The staff was communicative, gracious, attentive, and really made us feel like we were being taken care of. The food is your standard bar fare, we didn't get crazy with our menu given we were catering to young children and adults alike.
I was nervous walking in, and I walked out knowing that the next time I'm in the area, I'll be coming back and will also be referring business to Assembly on Main. We had a blast. Also, in an area where it's not that easy to find places that accommodate parties as large as ours, we could not have found a better place, or had better experience (parking was easy as well).
Love this place they have great food and are family friendly. So many things to do between the simulator, arcade games, ax throwing, bounce house or watching College Football or the NFL Sunday ticket they truly have it all.
Great atmosphere- family friendly and fun! Good food selection and bar options. Plenty of activities to keep you busy!

Highly recommend Assembly on main. Great staff, great food, exceptional service, and plenty to do with yourself or with family. From axe throwing to arcade, plenty to do while having a drink!
This is just a perfect overall destination for adults and families with children of virtually any age. There is a great variety of adult beverages. A solid basic bar food menu. But there is no end to the activities inside. There is a great arcade with pinball and variety of games from skee-ball to Golden Tee. There are axe throwing lanes, pool tables, a VR simulator, bounce houses, chess, and checkers, and even some fun bar top and card games. It is probably my favorite destination in Waynesville. As long as I'm in the area, I'll be a regular.

I’m surprised this place is even still open. The owner sucks more than the ones that own BearWaters.waited 45 minutes and couldn’t get service and Brandon Cox laughed in my faces when I asked for food and a beer.
