I recently moved to Waynesville and was told by family member living here that the best burger in town was Church Street Depot. As a retired chef and restaurant manager from Grove Park Inn I totally agree with family! Not only is it the best burger I’ve ever had, but it is the best bun and the best fries! Also, excellent service!
Amazing experience overall. Really nice, small-town atmosphere in an area that has free street parking nearby.
We had the Carolina (w/ no cheese) and Palmetto (w/ jalapenos on side) burgers and fries. It was all really good and we heard the milkshakes are great too.

Came across this place a few years ago and stopped in for a burger and fries. It was great. Went back tonight with some friends and it was still great. Burgers are fresh and juicy. If you’re in the area looking for a great burger….this is the place.
