Haywood 209 Cafe is always a great stop when I’m wanting to get a bite to eat. The service is consistently good, and Ivory was exceptional at being my server. I’ll definitely be back!
My wife and I were traveling back to SC and was hungry just happened to stop here and WOW we are so glad we did, we tried the mozzarella stix, jalapeño poppers as appetizers and wow they were delicious. I had the BLT with mash potatoes which was fantastic wife had a hamburger steak with collard greens (probably one of the best I've tasted) since everything was tasty we had to try the desserts, I got the banana pudding she the lemon meringue pie and wow best pie for sure...
Love the hometown of this place (and there’s no where better to eat than a hometown truckstop diner). Never stop in without knowing someone and if not, you’ll know someone shortly. The food is always excellent and one of the few places you can still get a chuck wagon. Stop in enough and the servers will know you by name. We always ask for Abby’s tables and her service is always great. She serves with a smile, will know your name, and won’t let your glass go empty....
