Awesome BBQ pork & brisket! The best you will find, WNC or elsewhere. Try the Texas sandwich with a cold beer & glass. You'll be dang near heaven as you can get in Waynesville! My husband and I are Senior BBQ Judges so we have had literally hundreds if not 1000's.

We enjoyed our meal at Haywood Smokehouse. After a long day of travel, it hit the spot.

Service was fast and friendly. Food was absolutely amazing (brisket, chopped pork and the Brunswick stew) all so good!

We took the desserts home and the Chocolate Pecan Bourbon cobbler was spectacular.

Next time we are in town for a WCU game we will be back!

Always try to eat here when I'm in town. Terrific meats and sides, generous portions, cold beer. Parking here can be a challenge, so go early. It's popular for a good reason. Love sitting outside. Service is really good, but slow due to the crowds.
