Not a fan. We needed take-out as we were in our RV & had our dog with us. The person taking our order had to ask for help three times & still missed some items. It then took a full 20 minutes to fill our order & there was only one other family in the restaurant and four employees present. I attempted to approach another staff & was ignored. The pancakes were not fully cooked & were more batter than pancake. I would have to be desperate to return.

Food was good, it was fresh and hot. The waitress was the only waitress working. She was on her toes, never ran out of fresh hot coffee, food served hot, and fresh. She was an amazing waitress. Too bad waitress pay is so poor and tips keep them afloat. The wages need to go up for waitresses to atleast as high as gas prices plus tips. There would be more waitresses. But ours was awesome. I left a 35% tip, she was great and we didn't have to wait for anything.

We went to the Waynesville NC Huddle House today (Mother’s Day) it was THE WORST experience That we have ever had at a restaurant! EVER!!!We we there for over 45 minutes and our food order was never even taken!We ordered coffee and water never got water nor sugar or cream either!We didn’t even get utensils!I got up and got my own napkins and cream and was jumped on for helping our waitress out because the district manager was there! ?Our waitress took (5) five other tables orders before never getting our order to even put in!I asked for the district manager who happened to be there, we waited 15 minutes but, never came to see us either! Lost a customer today because we walked out never getting sugar for our now just cold cup of coffee!Yes!!! You may contact me....by all means do so (please)For just a Follow-up! ** Now.......If you want to have your goal to “offer best-in-class service and homestyle food” you should go to the “Buttered Biscuit” just down the road and see what a “Best In Class” restaurant really looks like! It was packed too and the service “exceeded our expectations”!Service was 5 ⭐️‘S Service there!I even got three coffee refills and the sugar and cream were both already sitting on the table, no waiting for it!What a concept Huddle House! ?

I have never had a good experience at huddle house. And today was no different. The sign on door says 7-3. Went in at 2. Everything was shut down at 1:30. No orders and kicked to curb. I asked about the sign and the lady standing at the front door smoking a cigarette had the nerve to pull an attitude over a simple question. I now understand why flying j removed the huddle houses from their locations. Useless place and useless people employed. Save yourself the time. Far better places at an affordable price with 100% better service.

Me and my husband were heading home from a day trip and wanted to sit down and have a nice meal. Walked up and saw the sign that said open till 3pm. We were like ok it only 02:08pm we should have enough time to order and eat. Walked in and there was no one around we sat ourselves at the bar and grabbed menus to look at. A woman worker walks out of somewhere and looks at us and goes outside to smoke a cigarette. About 2-3 minutes later a man came out of the back and stated that they had shut the grills off some time ago as they are now cold. We simply asked why it’s not even close to 3pm. To which we got no reply. We left and the female worker was still outside and she said hi to us as we left. We asked her about the sign and she got defensive about saying that there was only two workers. She tried to offer my husband a job rudely. We left and will not be going back to any huddle house anymore.

We ordered through grub hub. The food came ice cold. My sunny side eggs came uncooked. They were slimy and all. Didn’t receive half our meal. Hamburger steak came without gravy. It was disgusting.

Me and my husband are from out of town, we were going through Waynesville and decided to try out huddle house, we decided to call it in and pick it up. They first told me I had to do the order online, so I did and it told us to pick up our food at 10:45am. when my husband goes in to pick our order up, mind you it’s not busy at all, the woman up at the front tells him it’s gonna be another 45 minute wait. So we waited, he goes in to pick it up after 45 minutes just for the same woman to tell him very rudely that she doesn’t know when our orders gonna be ready, and showed him that his name is at the bottom of their list. They haven’t even begun cooking it. We did not get our food until 2 hours later, we only got half of our order and no drinks, when she handed my husband our food she tells him “now get on out of here” Very poor service, they acted like they didn’t even want to give us the food we paid for and I really believe it’s because we weren’t local and just wanted to pick it up. Already spoke with cooperate so hopefully no one else gets treated poorly the way we did.

We were on the way home from a weekend getaway and needed some breakfast! It was really busy and there was only 1 waitress! She did the best she could with everyone. The food was OK at best, that said it did hit the spot! Id prolly stop in again next time im that way!

One of the worst places I have ordered food from! They advertise a new pick up window to the side, which is convenient with COVID. I was notified what time my order needed to be picked up. I arrived at the pick up window 5 minutes prior to pick up. There was 2 people dining in so they were not busy at all. I sat at the pick up window for 15 minutes while the waitress sat in the booth next to the pick up line....oblivious that I was even sitting at the window. I ended up having to go inside to pick up my order. I get home and everything was way over cooked. All three pieces of sausage could break a window. NEVER AGAIN!

Ok so right off they were out of sweet tea, but I could understand that since there were no other customers at the time. The waitress Sayla was going to make some for us but I went with Diet Pepsi. When I got my food the Grits were one big chunk, the scrambled eggs were fried and chopped up, the pancake was terrible. The syrup seemed watered down, but it could have been that it was simple heated. I could not us it anyway because they were out of sugar free syrup. This is we’re the waitress SAYLA saved the day. She not only waited on new people that came in but handled my issues by cooking me some new “Scrambled “ eggs perfectly. She made me a waffle as well. The waffle was cooked perfectly. Keep in mind she was not the cook, yet could easily be. Overall there’s some work needed at this location. I’m retired now but managed people in the Military 26 years and also BMW Manufacturing. I would definitely do everything to maintain Sayla. Through the whole ordeal she stayed professional and handled all the issues that was truly out of her control. A suggestion regarding inventory. Having unsweetened syrup for people with medical issues is a must. Again Sayla saved the meal by suggesting Honey. I don’t normally take the time to go on line to do reviews and simple the bad food prep would not have lead me to do so. I’m making an observation about the food while Mainly letting who ever is in charge know that you have a great associate in Sayla. If you have a management program I would most definitely consider her a candidate. Or give her a raise for handling what was a full restaurant by the time we left with the up most professionalism and customer service. With all due respect! Thank you SAYLA for your work!

Terrible service, if we had any. Set down because the sign said seat yourself. So we did. Waiting 5 mins, you know did the cough for someone's attention and even knocked on the table no one. They will ignore you. So we got up and left. Do not recommend. The tables were not clean at all. This place needs negative stars.

We were there on the Eve of the Eve this past year. They had only one server & she was terrific, never losing her cool, very efficient. When it got really busy, the 2 great cooks helped her serve food in addition to cooking. We were very impressed.

Stopped by here otw back to wilmington from the mountains with my family it was about 10:30 in the morning so if course it was pretty busy like most breakfast places at 10 in the morning but we ended up waiting on our food for 2 hours. Not only did we wait 2 hours our food came and it was undercooked and just not good. We had order some muffins as an starter and we got those last and the hashbrowns were undercooked as well as the bacon, then the biscuits were hard as rocks and the waffles were soggy and undercooked as well. However the service was NOT the problem all the servers were great and very nice. I think the problem was the kitchen was under staffed they had 2 people cooking and cooking sooooooo slow. I really think the huddle house would thrive under new management until i wouldnt recommend going if its busy.
