I was really excited when I saw this listed in my phone scouting out the town of Waynesville. My name is also Kandi spelled exactly the same. I can count on one had how many times Ive seen my name on anything and Im old. LOL. Anyway the bakery is amazing. I met the other Kandi and we got an eclair(huge), macarons(so yummy), and strawberry cream cheese horn. It is a must go to place if you are in Waynesville.

Everything I have ever purchased is absolutely delicious! My favorite is the mounds dessert. Today, I purchased a few goodies for a friend's birthday and they wrapped it up nice with a bow. Thank you!

I needed a Mickey Mouse smash cake for my baby's first birthday & they did a wonderful job on what I wanted. It was perfect for my baby. And their prices are amazing affordable. I highly suggest Kandi's Cakes & Bake Shop for any of your sweet desires.

Got something that looked like a slice of dessert pizza with cream cheese, icing, cherry compote. It was delicious. They also have several different small cookies for 50 cent each. Lots of things to choose from. Great value.

Absolutely delicious!!!! We got the raspberry pizza pastry (absolutely delicious!!!!), a cannoli (absolutely delicious!!! Not the classic cannoli that isn’t sweet enough, more like an icing flavor which I love!!!), a raspberry macaron (absolutely delicious texture, best macaron I’ve ever had!!! Didn’t taste much raspberry but that could’ve also been because I was stuffing my taste buds with a bunch of other flavors at the same time 😅), and a cinnamon roll/bun (which wasn’t dry at all!!! I feel like a good tell or whether a bakery is quality or not is if they have cinnamon rolls - are they dry or moist? And let me tell you these were the absolute BEST cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had!! So moist, yet flaky, and full of flavor!!! Their prices are AMAZING!!! And they were busy but efficient!! We were in and out within 5 minutes even though the line was backed up to the door!! HIGHLY recommend this bakery!!!!! My favorite bakery ever!!! So glad we discovered it!!!! ❤️❤️

I called a few weeks ago to ask about catering for my wedding and the female who answered was very rude. In the background it sounded like she was doing something while on the call so I was having to repeat myself multiple times. That is not very professional and honestly quite rude. She was not helpful and did not seem like she wanted my business.

Kandi has made a couple cakes for me now and she has knocked it out of the park every time. She is so sweet, attentive, professional, and so creative. I had an some idea of what I wanted, and she outdid it every time. Her staff even carried it out to the car for me in the pouring rain. I previously had a cake made by publix and was very disappointed in the quality, price, and service so I will only be getting cakes from Kandi. I've also had a couple cookie sandwiches that were fantastic.

Only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Kandi's Cakes is a must visit any time we're in town. We generally fill a box with treats and enjoy them over the weekend. They're friendly, helpful, and make the best baked goods within at least a three hour drive (yes, I'm including Charlotte).

My personal favorites are the almond bear claws. My kids love the cookies and cake pops.

And they seem to always make the most fun treats for every holiday so you just have to keep going in to see what's new. We adore this place so much and hope it stays around forever!

Note that parking is a bit difficult sometimes due to traffic. There's a few spots in the lot just before the Inn, otherwise there's a bunch of spots on the main road going south. This will never stop us from popping in!

They were amazing at helping us to pick out our flavor for our wedding. We went with a non-traditional wedding flavor of a 2 tier Canoli cake. Kandi's matched my flavor request and provided us with a perfect, delicious, perfectly moist and balanced cake that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. If you want the MOST DELICIOUS cakes, treats, and pastries... you will not be disappointed with Kandi's Cakes.
