We went by today and they had a sign on the door that says they are permanently closed. I hate to hear that because they had a great breakfast.

We got there around 11:50AM on a Monday. There where a few people eating. After a 5 or so minutes a server came up and said we are closed. A couple that walked in just before us started questioning the server but we just left. I was told they close early in the evening but before noon. I didn't see why they bother to open at all.

Visited Tuesday August 19.2025 Exceptional service and cleanest restaurant I have seen in a while. Breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious. At 11 they put out lunch buffet but also kept the breakfast hot and fresh. I ordered breakfast buffet but also got a piece of hot and delicious fried catfish from the lunch buffet. Cannot say enough about the Owner manager Roger and all the employees. They are so kind, friendly and check on you frequently. Please seek out this Shoney’s for sure!

It’s seems such a shame to Have such a nice new restaurant, but the food sucks and the service by Marshal was terrible! The manager was obviously mad and defensive when we told her the food was yuck! Seems at 2pm everyone is just waiting to walk out at 4pm! Waiter too busy cleaning the kitchen for closing time to be able to refill our drinks! If you can’t handle nine customers in the restaurant and keep food out and fresh, you might as well close the doors!

We ate the food and salad bar. It took me back about 30 year's, The food is still great and thank you helping me to remember those great times eating at shoneys with my wife, before we had our children

Okay for a cheap place to eat. I went for the salad buffet, it was very basic but edible. They Only had lettuce for greens, the onions were cut way too thick and the cheese was oddly wet. I also tried the other options on the buffet and was pleasantly surprised with the fried fish. Mom and I were able to eat lunch for under $30 so we weren't upset by that at all.
We’ve always loved Shoneys. It’s our go to Mommy and Daughter dates. It was going down hill for a while and we thought maybe we might have to switch it up but yesterday there’s a new to us manager named Ruby and she has COMPLETELY turned the place around. She was probably the most sweetest and professional manager I’ve ever seen there. Good job Shoneys for finding her!

So my daughter and I drove almost an hour to eat here... website clearly shows open until 8 PM... they closed at 4... on a Friday? From what I gather they operate at whatever hours they want... shoneys needs to look into management here. We weren't the only car pulling in expecting to eat... they have a woman in her car out front telling people they are closed...
