“Solid old fashioned breakfast. Great service. Not many tables. They are packed. If there is a parking space, there is probably a table. We had coffee at our table quickly. I went for the two egg breakfast with bacon, grits, and biscuit. My son has chicken and waffles. Both were very good at a decent price.“
“Joined a friend for breakfast at the Med. Waited about an hour to get a seat, and while waiting, got in trouble (over-shopped) at the amazing store next door. Make sure that you call ahead and get in the list! I ordered the catfish with collards and potatoes. The catfish was very good and the potatoes were delicious. I think the best (home fries) I've ever had at a restaurant. They give you a generous serving of half sized potatoes. The collards were not my cup of vinegar. Too much vinegar and spine. I dislike the spine included on most leafy veggies. I also had a cup of hot chocolate that was good too. My friend had an omelette and she thought it was okay. I enjoyed my food and would go back when in town.“
“I’ve had some of the best dishes of my life here. I can’t eat gnocchi anymore thanks to Cheff Goff because nothing compares to his dish. The food is incredible but the staff are what make this place truly special. It feels like walking into a kitchen full of friends with warm greetings and savory smells. Even better, there’s a bit of a dive bar vibe without being a dive bar in that they have all kinds of tempting drink specials. “I had lunch here a couple of weeks ago. It was on my list of places to go after surfing yelp. I had the filly cheese steak with fries. It was a good meal. The sandwich was generous and hot. Service was good. The place must be popular as it was full. I will come again and try something else. Maybe the patty melt or Cuban is next.“
