Picked up a couple of rib plates from here today. They did not disappoint. Ribs fell off the bone. Rice and beans were cooked well. Everything was seasoned well. It came with a hot sauce and corn tortillas but I don't eat either of those. I'm definitely going to eat here again.
I found out about Azteca's Wendell location after visiting the Raleigh location and having one of the best meals ever by Ivan Romero, the son of Minerva and Ho--Shay (my apologies - wasn't sure how to spell your name, sir!) and man, you can see where the son learned his trade.....like the Raleigh location, Azteca's serves THE BEST CHICKEN I've ever had. The ribs are just as awesome, too - the only reason I'm reserving that spot is because I've been to Memphis...'nuff said there.

I’ve driven by this place for what seems like years but never tried it. Finally stopped by for lunch and I have been missing out! The chicken was amazing and well seasoned. They gave me a sample of the ribs after I ordered and made me regret my chicken order it was so good. I will be back for an order of ribs.
