The hostess on 6/11/26 around 7:30 PM was incredibly rude when I requested that my boyfriend and I have a booth (I only asked because I’m dealing with a back injury). She rolled her eyes at me and then the whole way to our table. I’m assuming she’s in high school, but at the same time, you’re in the food industry and choose where you work, you can leave if it’s not for you.

Luckily, our waitress (Payton) was incredible - super timely, courteous, and sweet.

Went on a pretty quiet Sunday evening to have a quick dinner with my husband. This was our first time here but it seems some other reviews reflect the same concerns we experienced. We were quickly sat but then forgotten about for 15-20 minutes despite there being several empty tables. When someone finally came, we got food ordered and it arrived rather quick. Everything from the chips, to guac, to dinner was so bland. Tastes like they just used bagged chips and the guac absolutely did not have any salt or lime (which makes the entire thing). It was avocado with cilantro. The food was just average bland food. Service & food was overall lacking.

Food is absolutely horrible. None of it had any flavor. That's pretty hard to do in a Mexican establishment, but somehow, they did it. Bar is nice and big with lots of options. Super cool outdoor splash pad for the children with outdoor seating. Bartender is pretty good. Would not return for food, possibly drinks.

Good food but the customer service leaves something to be desired. Short rude hostess truly lacking hospitality. I work with the public so to some degree I understand. I am not going to spend my money where I am treated poorly. Especially not in this economy.

We visited Tacos and Tequila on (May) Monday the 18th before 7 PM. There were quite a few patrons outside, but luckily we were able to snag a table for four.

The male host was very accommodating and seated us quickly. No line. No wait. Perfect!

Our female server was attentive, responsive, and had such a pleasant smile. I had the three asada tacos, my husband had something so good he ate every bite, and the kids had the burger and tenders. No complaints from anyone.

The food was great, and the margaritas were perfect. The bartender definitely deserves a huge tip! The drinks were not too strong and not watered down — just right. That’s exactly how you get customers to order more.

Finally, a restaurant that understands customer service. We’ll definitely be back!

I had went down to Wendell falls to spend time with the family. Definitely love the waterfall outside the shopping center for kids. I thought wow, this restaurant looks really good. Went inside and it wasn’t packed. Maybe 2 tables so I thought I would have a good experience. I ordered a chipotle Chicken and shrimp plate with white rice and guacamole. When the hostess first brought my plate out I told her if she could please take it back and pack it again. When she asked why I pointed out how it was completely leaking inside the bag. Which she happily agreed too. When I come to open my food I see this….its a plate full of greasy sauce which is not chipotle whatsoever. I can’t even see white rice or my guac. 😭 It’s just a messy, soupy plate. And then the shrimp has head on it. I get it if it was a different place but I paid almost $36 for this?
Then I ordered a Flan which was $8. And the flan smells like it’s been sitting in a fridge forever.
It’s ridiculous. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

We came 30 min before they opened to play at the splash pad and they were kind enough to still let me order drinks and food! We had such a great experience today and definitely recommend!

What can I say, we were outside on a hot day playing at the splash pad and David an employee at Don Betos, opened the umbrellas, got us chips and salsa, and got us something to drink BEFORE they were open. You don’t see kindness like this every day. To top it off the chips and salsa were great and eventually once they opened the margaritas were fantastic. Having moved from San Diego we’ve missed good quality margaritas and this reminded us of home.

Food Was good and fresh, Service was a bit slow but it was Cinco de mayo,The worst part is that they replaced The Patron tequila with Respasado tequila and they're excuse was we ran out but still charging the same price lol
