This place was absolutely awesome. The service was great, the inside is exactly what you'd picture, just by the name. Which for me, was a win. But the food was freaking amazing, of course people are thinking, its just breakfast food. But its the amount of random options, portion size and real ingredients. The fact they had S.O.S on the menu, won me over instantly and corned beef hash. So in my opinion, it was excellent and we will definitely be back, next visit to NC

I have eaten here a couple times in the past and it has been a typically a solid staple. My wife and I went during Christmas in July and granted it was very busy. That being said our orders were simple and the food was beyond bad. My sausage gravy was watery and bland, I had about 9 potato pieces in my order of home fries, and my eggs were cold. My wife ordered a sausage biscuit, and the entire thing was cold and the biscuit incredibly dry. I have worked in kitchens in the past and understand mistakes happen, especially during a rush with new employees, but breakfast food of such poor quality is inexcusable. Serving good breakfast during a rush is not hard to accomplish and there are several other restaurants in the area which excel at this. We will likely not be returning.
