I came to try the candies brussel sprouts and was absolutely blown away, as I was by everything else I tasted.The pork was perfection and even the hush puppies, which I don't generally care for, were delicious! Kristin is personable, funny, and accomodating. Her food is off-the-charts amazing, and it was worth the 40 minute drive. And get you some of those sprouts!

I never knew what a food truck even was before I moved to California. I found myself at them often. All times of day and night. But when I left California for the Carolina’s, I found food trucks were something I was missing. Then I found Kristins Hook’d on Smoke. Good lort, I’m talkin bout holy wow what a truck that is. Kristin’s Hooked on smoke is 5 stars all the way!!! The BEST food you will eat in Ashe County! Not only is the food the best, Kristin is amazing! Once you meet her, she makes you feel like she’s known you forever! Her personality alone, makes you want to come back for more! My husband is a very picky eater, and her brisket is the best he’s ever had! Highly recommend Kristin and her amazing food and staff!
