Picked up an order on Friday, I got the brisket plate with baked beans and tater tots. Everything was excellent, the brisket was so tender it just melts in your mouth. I have eaten here many times and have never had a bad meal. Kristen always provides excellent service and is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. A must try while in Ashe county.

I came to try the candies brussel sprouts and was absolutely blown away, as I was by everything else I tasted.The pork was perfection and even the hush puppies, which I don't generally care for, were delicious! Kristin is personable, funny, and accomodating. Her food is off-the-charts amazing, and it was worth the 40 minute drive. And get you some of those sprouts!

I never knew what a food truck even was before I moved to California. I found myself at them often. All times of day and night. But when I left California for the Carolina’s, I found food trucks were something I was missing. Then I found Kristins Hook’d on Smoke. Good lort, I’m talkin bout holy wow what a truck that is. There’s brisket in there and these chicken sandwiches drenched in whiskey. The onion rings…..I’ve had dreams about them. I discovered what a corn nugget was! One of the best parts of this last summer has been the times I stand in line at this place just absolutely stoked about what deliciousness I’m about to get into. Oh dude. I didn’t tell you about that hamburger. Finally it’s done better than I can get it at home. Jump up and slam it in ya face. I can’t wait to get back there.

There is nothing on this truck that isn’t absolutely delicious!!! BBQ (REAL BBQ), wings(messed up is my fav), burgers, brisket, ribs OH MY! That loaded potato salad is to die for! Portions are large! I’m telling you, do your tastebuds a favor and let Kristin feed your face. She’ll serve it up with a free side of sass❤️Dietary restrictions: Kristin will rattle off all the gluten free options in a heartbeat for you. Plenty to choose from!

I am a huge fan of the brisket when it's available, and her burgers are simply the best around here, anyway. Paired with any number of mouth watering sides you have a great meal. And let's not forget about her bourbon meatloaf available by the pound or as a plate or sandwich.
