We had reservations set about a month prior to our one year wedding anniversary. The night before our reservation the status of our reservation was changed to denied. I sent a message to inquire as to why our reservation was cancelled. I received a response from what I'm assuming is the owner or manager stating that they overlooked our reservation and accepted someone else's. Basically, our reservation was given away after being accepted a month ago. Very unprofessional and do not intend to make a reservation in the future.

Uniquely prepared brunch menu full of marvelously fused flavors! French toast to die for....same with the Asian noted short ribs! Great service.... unfortunately, they have lost their lease to some developers & the owner has decided to focus on his event business.....this, closing the doors soon....go while you can!! The immediate area has most likely lost one of the two best restaurants to 'progress'.

We were just road tripping through and I'm so glad we stopped by! Staff were wonderful and the chicken and waffles and spicy bloody Marys were outstanding! Thank you!

This place is amazing. There’s nowhere else within an hour of Boone that can compare to the commitment found here toward providing this level of food and service. A range of delightful food selections are available on the menu, and the chef was more than happy to modify his menu to accommodate dietary restrictions. The bar boasts fantastic wine selections also! Morchella Provisions has instantly become our new favorite place for brunch in the high country. The hardest part of making this discovery is simply having to wait a whole week between visits. Thank you Josh and family for a fantastic experience today!

Our family plus one went here for brunch on Easter Sunday. We made a reservation for 11 am for four. The menu was a bit limited, but everything we had was excellent. I confess, when looking for someone for brunch I overlooked this partly because of the name. Google reviews are much more prolific for this place, I noticed. According to one of the servers, they opened in mid 2021 and are owned by another company who does a lot of weddings. I had the fried green tomato BLT, hubs and our guest had the southern breakfast and my DD had the chicken and waffles. Everything was delicious and service was excellent, friendly and fast.

Ate here for the first time for the Sunday brunch. The food and staff were wonderful. Would highly recommend Morchellas. Unfortunately they are only open for Sunday brunch. Look forward to going back.

Chef Josh Cane is amazing!!! We could not ask for anything better! All of our wedding guests spoke high praise of how amazing the food was on par with any 5-Star Michelin Stared restaurant! We were blown away!! I highly recommend them for your culinary needs!

Beautiful place, definitely worth a visit!! Friendly staff with a warm, cozy atmosphere.Great Food with nice touches and structure.Limited seasonal menu structure, portion size of on the Medium/Small size, so call ahead and see what they will be having that week/month. The Online menu wasn't accurate, but they had 5 Starters, 5 Entrees, and 5 Deserts. Limited wine by the glass and beer selection as well.

New restaurant, nicely decorated, short but good wine list with selections from $25 to $200. Unfortunately the food we had was hit and miss. Salmon was very good, cheese plate was ok but overpriced for the tiny amount of cheese presented. Focaccia was good but the bread so so. Had high expectations for the Beef Wellington. It presented nicely with crispy puff pastry top but from there it went downhill. Once the puff pastry was cut it revealed tiny pieces of beef at best 3-4 oz. Perhaps these were the end cuts of the fillet but $40 dollar Beef Wellington should be made with the prime of the beef tenderloin not tiny pieces that are more appropriate for beef tips. The bottom crust of puff pastry was soggy from the wet spinach filling and inedible although I like the idea of spinach vs. duxelles wrap. All in all a mixed experience for a $140 dinner. Maybe we will give them another chance although better options are available in West Jefferson.
