The supercenter walmart subway on 1489 Mt Jefferson Rd in NC is very good, however the assistant manager & day manager not so discretely talked about an employees sister who sits in the store while the employee works. The reason for that is...the employees sister has information & knowledge of her sisters diabetes & what to do if it suddenly drops. The sister was not confronted by either of the managers politely, but was talked/whispered about behind her own back in full view. They finally asked said employee & they explained the situation. The sister burst into tears & I am APPALLed at the scene. If people have questions then they should ask point blank.....especially any form of management. PLEASE FIX THE MANAGEMENT

I tried to get a sub at 12:30p today, Wednesday. Two people were sitting at the tables but the chain doors were drawn shut. I asked if they knew if it was open, and one said "we're closed for lunch." This is the second time I have tried to get a sub midday and they were closed. Also have been to the other location twice across the street and they also have been closed both times. That's four failed attempts to get a sub at lunchtime. What's going on here Subway?

Messed up our online order, called them and they tried to deny it then told me to bring the three sandwiches back so they can inspect them.

I like Subway's food in general but the Subway restaurants under this local franchise are run by greedy owners. They pay their workers less than the neighboring Subway franchise in Boone. Management will not allow the workers to give water cups or forks to anyone unless they have just bought something on that visit, even if they are a regular customer. The upper management and owners lack respect for the workers and know they can push around the high schoolers who have the misfortune of working for them. If you are looking for somewhere quick to eat in West Jefferson I would suggest thinking of somewhere else to avoid supporting the franchise owners, if you are looking for somewhere to work try Walmart. Walmart pays more starting out and the management actually cares about the needs of the staff.
I'm really not one to complain but I just got a foot long cold cut and I hate to say but this is about the sorriest sub I have ever got at any subway.I don't think I will be back to the subway in the Walmart in West Jefferson NC.Sorry for the complaint but I can't eat such a sandwich no matter who made it.Step it up I have always liked your food but this suxAndy South

They were able to do a large order for me on short notice. The manager, whose name sadly escapes me, was very sympathetic to my situation and helped me. The sandwiches were delicious and nicely presented. At the Subway across the street where I called first the silly girl who answered could barely talk because she was laughing with coworkers. She handed me off to the manager who told me they didn't have enough bread to fill my order. What!? I said, "you don't have enough bread to make 5 footlongs". He said probably not. It was 3:15 in the afternoon! Crazy! Anyway if you want to be treated with respect and kindness, go to Subway inside of Walmart.
