A friend and I ate here today and had a wonderful experience. The pub burger with fries were scrumptious. The wait staff was very attentive and helpful. Multiple staff members asked how we were doing and made sure we were having a good experience. I even purchased a t-shirt!! Can’t wait to return. I can’t wait for the patio to open.

Very disappointing visit. Stopped by early on Friday night for dinner. At 5:30 we were told 40min. For a table for 2. OK. Well, 90min later we finally sat down.Given the extra time, we knew what we wanted to order! BBZZT. They have a VERY limited menu- but they were already out of 1 of only 4 signature dishes. :-(, My wife doesnt eat meat, so she just ordered a couple sides. What finally came out was laughable. Four (4) sad little asparagus spears on a plate!We dont mind waiting for a good meal- but this wasn’t that. Also, being seated 50min late for 2 people is poor table mgmt. oh, and zero apology from the restaurant for any of these misses.

We had a great experience at the Red Dog tonight! The service was fantastic - we had a wait due to the Saturday night crowd - but it was well worth it. The menu was a great mix of casual to finer-dining options. We started with the Crawfish & Country Ham Hush Puppies - which were fantastic. For our main dishes we had one of their signature burgers (the fries were perfect & they serve Heinz ketchup) and the scallops. Both meals were well delicious! The wine options were good - we enjoyed a glass while we waited for a table and another with our entrees.We will be abck!

Just had an amazing experience at Red Dog Bistro in West Jefferson, North Carolina! The food was absolutely lovely, with a great variety of drink options to choose from. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Highly recommend this place.
We had lunch at Red Dog in WJ today and it was great.As I came to submit this review I see several others that are pretty negative. But even though they're tagged as being days/weeks old, and responses appear to be from Red Dog, details in the reviews confirm that most are older; prior to Red Dog ownership.

I watched the chef come out and cuss out two older people for sending food back. IAm Sure there are two sides to every story, but the actions of the staff were just too much no matter what the story was. People (staff) like that are also the ones that when you are not looking would take shortcuts and carry a grudge behind closed doors, like a kitchen. This is after we waited over an hour for a seat while there were plenty of empty tables available. We also saw another staff member shame the elderly couple to their face.Our food was just ok for the price. Waiting for a table was ridiculous, especially with empty tables everywhere. We won’t be going back after the behavior of the staff and chef, there is just no call for what they did in any situation telling the older patrons “f… y..”. It’s not a place we can trust other people behind closed doors to make a meal and eating out experience, especially as a local. Want a good meal? Go to Craft Bistro in West Jeff, they do it right, and food never needs to be sent back and risk ridicule from those you are trying to pay.

While I appreciate you believing your servers, I can assure you that any acknowledgement of the wings taking longer than the entree WAS NOT any point of conversation at the time the order was placed. After the fact when we asked is when we were told that the wings take longer. Either way a business who serves appetizers should know they come out first. No harm done but duly noted. This was a more than honest and fair review that was positive as well as concerns noted. Guessing concerns of paying customers means nothing to this establishment ….1/24/2024Shrimp and grits were awesome BUT I have never ordered an appetizer anywhere (wings) and told at the time we received our entree (shrimp and grits), after asking about the appetizer, that the wings took longer and therefore weren’t available to bring out first. WTH??? Isn’t that part of waitressing and the kitchen? We were almost done with our entree when the appetizer came out. We were given 2 small to go containers for a dozen wings. When asked about a larger container, for like a larger to go meal, we were told they had run out of large containers. Really???The front door staff was definitely disorganized when customers came in. No personal greeting except when leaving.Definitely felt rushed when no where near done with our entrees we are asked if there would be anything else and given the check.People don’t mind waiting on a table if the food and service are where they need to be. First impressions are lasting impressions. Great food isn’t the only thing that makes a good impression.
