After a long day of driving and most eateries closing at 8 in West Jefferson, we were very grateful for Thong Summit being able to serve us a hot and fresh dinner with refreshing Thai teas at 8 pm. Pictured is the signature fire hot fried chicken. It was more savory with some kick and very delicious. Only hiccup - Our shu mai initially came out cold in the middle but they kindly refired.

I was skeptical. Thai food in Ashe County??? Then the appetizers came and I knew I had been steered properly. So flavorful and crispy. The red curry with grilled chicken was my main course. Perfect amount of spice, but I kept burning my tongue from impatience getting it in my mouth. Good enough that I decided desert should be a sushi roll, so I could try a little of everything. Incredible dynamite roll. Should have taken more pictures for you guys.

My family’s favorite Thai restaurant, anywhere. Fresh veggies and meats, great sushi, and the best red curry I have ever had. Excellent service too!

The food is delicious and is served fast. The wait staff is very attentive. We loved the variety of sushi, Thai curry, soups, and salads. Oh and the ginger honey tea is delicious and cheap! Only criticism is the tables are sticky.

Absolutely the worst sushi I’ve had. The signature Magic Roll had no flavor. Had two other guests try the roll and they had the same thoughts. Shared with the waitress our experience and the specific issues. The spicy tuna on top tasted canned with no flavor, avocado has not ripe and hard. Topping was inconsistent and missing completely on half of the roll. Waitress understood our disappointment and agreed, however management was unwilling to offer anything. No apology, discount or comp. Just full price check. Would not recommend the restaurant to anyone. Try any other restaurant in the area before going here. One star is being overly generous. If you’ve ever had fresh sushi, this place will definitely disappoint you.

I am so thankful we have this little gem in our town!!! One thing I miss about home is the sushi and TS is top notch. If you are indecisive on what to get the employees will ask what you usually like and will suggest their favorites. Its not wayyyy overly priced like other sushi places I've been to in the HC. You won't be disappointed.

This place is very nice place the service and the food were amazing. Kylie and Maddie are great at what they do. My daughter loved going to this restaurant.

Incredible sushi. The wait was crazy. Got apps quick but the food took about an hour 1\2. Server was new but so sweet and funny. We're just going to have to go on their none busy days next time 😂

Update: Sushi still best in the area and surrounding areas! The sushi chefs are TOP NOTCH. The food is ok. I'm not a big thai eater so I don't feel super qualified to judge the authenticity but I'm not a huge fan. But that sushi. 10 outta 10 recommend
