I’m from South Carolina, and my family had just attended the ACC Championship baseball game. On our way up that morning, we spotted this brewery and planned to stop for a drink and some food from the lobster truck on our way back. However, we were very disappointed when they wouldn’t allow our 15-year-old son through the gift shop, let him grab something to eat, or even use the restroom! I was previously a longtime supporter of Red Oak. After moving away, my husband and I returned often to support this brewery. We just made the trip after over a year with our 10 month old on Mother Day weekend and were turned away because of their no babies/young children rule. We were left shaking our heads and wondering how a brewery would want to turn away a huge subset of customers, especially those who have potentially been longtime supporters.
