50'S Snack Bar is known for having some of the best gravy biscuits and flavorful bacon in town. Their fried bologna is unlike any other, with a good thick slice that won't disappoint. The staff is described as kind and genuine, making the dining experience even better. The food is great, with homemade chicken salad, a fruit cup, German chocolate cake, footlong hotdogs, cheeseburgers, fries, and the best onion rings around. Keith the owner's Wednesday Special, a marinated Pork Chop, is a must-try, one of the best tasting pork chops ever had, served with two sides like Cole slaw and green beans. Fast and friendly service can be expected, though the food took a while to come out on a packed day. The decor and music played over the speakers was perfect for the theme. The place is a true gem, home cooking for sure, highly recommended for breakfast. Wheelchair accessibility was in place with a homemade ramp.
