I was very excited to try the chicken fried chicken but very disappointed. The chicken was some kind of pressed patty and the gravy is from a packet. They did take my plate off the check. The fried squash and desserts were delicious. I absolutely love their baklava. I always get it if they have it.

Down home country kitchen cooking. Very friendly place to eat. Staff is always wonderful and friendly. Prompt service and food quality is very high. Definitely A+ quality. I have been there many times while working out of town in the Wilkesboro area. I make sure to stop and have another dinner at Cagney's KitchenParking: Parking extends completely around 3 sides of the buildingKid-friendliness: It is a family restaurant. No alcohol. We had the best lunch. I had the grilled ham and swiss on rye that was super tasty. The kids had chicken strips with the best homemade ranch dressing.The food was very reasonably priced and very good. The staff was very nice. We had the best waitress. Her name was Karen Renee. She was very personable, very knowledgeable of the menu. Our table never had an empty glass.

Asked the manger what was the reason for this haven’t seen waitress since we got our drinks
He said he would check it out and went to the kitchen came back by our table and didn’t stop or say anything
We left while the manger was up front at the register he never said anything not even a sorry

My cousin and I have been coming here for YEARS now and specifically the waitress Karen is definitely not a ""Karen"" She takes care of us as if we were family and is always serving with a smile. We've started to request to sit in her area whenever she's working because she's so good to us. Thank you Karen!

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I hate leaving any bad reviews to places bc I understand businesses have off days. But me and my husband got a hamburger from this place once and got food poisoning. After that we decided not to go back. Well after awhile we decided to give it another go I called for a To go order which was a fairly simple order of an omelette and waffle with liver mush. When my husband arrives to pick it up his first response to me was that we will never be eating again at this establishment due to them not knowing yet they was talking about our order we made saying it was “difficult “ then proceeded to try to over charge us after telling us the amount. When my statement amount came up on my phone it said they attempted at charging us over that amount without our permission. If you’re looking for a friendly atmosphere for family I do not recommend this establishment. Especially after the food poisoning.
