“Every time we go to Georgia Dean's we are wowed by the GREAT FOOD and super service too! I can't say enough about the amazing brined bone-in pork chop that is my go-to! It's like the Filet Mignon of Pork! And so reasonably priced as well- it's a local treasure!“

“The restaurant was great—no complaints. Everything we ordered was spot on. The service was good, though it was a busy night, so refills were a bit slow, but nothing worth complaining about. The atmosphere was clean and pleasant.

Food:
12 Oz ribeye - cooked perfectly, delicious flavor, fantastic texture.
Smoked chicken - good smoke, great portion size
Brisket - thick cut, little dry but not bad at all, good flavor
Fries - crinkle, great crunchy texture, best you can get with crinkle
Blooming onion - one of the best, if not the best, blooming onions we've ever had. They nailed this.
Fully loaded chips - thick cut crunchy chips, nice surprise, great appetizer, no complaints.
Cole slaw - mayo heavy, otherwise pretty good and fresh
Mac and cheese - solid (as in good)
Salad - a FULL SALAD BAR in 2024 at a non-buffet? AWESOME! And fresh with all salad fixings stocked to boot!

However, the "theme park" portion of the location could use some serious attention. Most of the attractions were either broken or out of order, and the kids' playset seemed like a potential safety hazard. The cafe area, filled with comic toys for sale, felt a bit out of place, but that’s not the focus of this review.

As for the restaurant, it’s one of the best in North Carolina for the price range. Decor and theme, beautiful. With some care and updates to the park, this could easily become a fantastic spot for a full day of family fun, not just a meal.“

“The food is always spot on, and the portion sizes are very large. The service is always very friendly, although the pickup area lacks a little to be desired. Overall, well worth money.

Parking: The parking lot is not that large, but it's plenty as this is take out only.“

“Last fried chicken plate was too salty to eat. Chicken and vegs. Today got a chicken filet sandwich on moldy bun and customer service was terrible. The lady at the window was talking through a closed window and I could barely hear her and she wasn't friendly at all. I don't plan on going back.“

“We had been debating on going here because of the previous reviews. Decided to check it out for ourselves. Dined in for lunch buffet at 2pm. I thought to question if that was the right time for freshness. After seated, went to buffet and was pleasantly surprised to see all was fresh and hot. Food was great. Point to make as per other reviews....yes you drink out of a red solo cup, you take a Styrofoam plate for the buffet and you eat with a very sturdy plastic fork. I personally don't have a problem using these items. It didn't affect my enjoyment of my meal or the quality of great food. My only critique would be on the ice cream that is there for a dessert. I prefer the individual ice cream servings for sanitary purposes, but as of late have noticed many places going to big containers and you dip what you want out of those containers. The owner and staff were very nice folks and engaged us with conversation. We will be going there more frequently. Each person has their own experience, but remember that sometimes what you put out is what you get back.“
