Artisano Pizza and Gelato

We had a great experience here! The staff was SUPER nice! Shout out to April and Jasmine!! Yall are the best! The food was fresh and delicious and the Gelato was a refreshing way to top it all off!!

Saw sign on side of road for gelato and swung in to get some and it was fantastic! Did it for national I've cream day. Great service! Will have to go back and grab some food because it looked fantastic as well.

I would give 5, but they shorten menu, no more sandwiches. Also the wait staff is very slow and we had to wait for menus, water, drinks really long time.Gelatos are amazing!

We love supporting Gelarto since we live just down the road! Except if I were to lock the doors 10 minutes before close at my job, I would definitely get in trouble. 8:50 is not 9 ?

So maybe it's time to update the website and google hours to what the actual operating hours are. It's fine if the hours have changed but update the information! Multiple times I've tried to go in because I was trying to surprise someone at work and they have not been open during their posted hours. Like today, the website says they open at 11 on Fridays. It was 12:30 p and closed, I guess I should've called before going but didn't think about it till after. I even checked the social media prior to going to see if there were updates to the hours there. I get google hours not always being correct but when they're own website says they should be open with no updates anywhere, it gets very frustrating.

Love this place! Went in for a late lunch on a Tuesday and had the best experience. The Margarita Pizza was on special and it was delicious! The bartender came up with a grapefruit cocktail that was also so good. Can't wait to go back and get the breakfast pizza...highly recommend, I've had it in the past and it's so so good! Also, Kassie, who was behind the bar was so friendly and very good at her job!

You guys! Grab your family and/or friends and head to Artisano Pizza and Gelato! This place is so stinkin cute! They have tables that look like cars, yummy food, melt in your mouth Gelato, super clean environment, and wonderful service. Great for date night, family night, or a night out with friends. Bonus, I just learned they're now open for lunch!

The food and service here was awesome. Meatballs and marinara are outstanding. Diavolo pizza was original and exciting on the pallette. The ambiance was great for kids with bar seats made out of cars (Fiat). The bar is well stocked and the Honey Gelato was a smooth creamy finish. We'll be back soon!

After having been here for gelato several times since they opened, we made the decision to finally try dining in at Artisano. When we arrived, there was only one other table that was sat so we thought that we would order and get our food fairly quickly. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Everything at Artisano was in slow motion.I am fairly certain that it was noticed that we kept looking towards the kitchen/waitstaff because the wait for our food was unreasonably long. I waited about 20 minutes before asking how long it would be before we got our salads or appetizer. I was informed that the kitchen was backed up with a take out order. (I saw the person waiting for and then receiving their order... it was not that big of an order).Shortly after, we received our appetizer, salads, and pizza nearly back to back. It's worth noting that prior to ordering I confirmed with our server that the appetizer did not have meat in it. However, upon cutting into the arancini, I discovered it did have meat in it. (The reason given was that they were training new cooks). Also, Artisano pizza is not the type of pizza that needs to cool down. It's very thin crust, so it gets cold very quickly. So the poor timing of our appetizer and salads affected our enjoyment of the pizza. Overall, I do think that Artisano pizza is ok. The sauce is good, but there was so much flour on the bottom of the crust that I had to brush it off. In the end, it really affected the texture of the pizza crust and overall flavor.This place could be really great, but it's just not. Owner really needs to get in there and fix the problems.Would I get gelato here again? Yes.Would I dine-in or order food here again? No. Not a good dining experience and I won't go back.

A talking robot delivering condoments or meals with developing menu and large thin crust pizza while sitting o a Fiat bench seat made the dining fun.A large selection of gelato ended our pasta entrees perfectly.Bring the kids.

Place is open for lunch!!! Great Vibe! Come hang out, owner is chill, food is real good, and the gelato is legit.

My infant has a milk allergy so I had cut dairy out of my diet, so I was excited to find they offered dairy free cheese. This is hands down the BEST dairy free cheese I’ve ever had!! Made me feel like I was eating real pizza. It was sooo good! Thank you!

I have given this place many chances because some of the food is actually pretty good, but at this point it’s absurd. I’ve come into the restaurant late a few times after I get off work to pick up food for my family, about an hour before they close. Multiple times I have been told by a waitress that the cooks had left early, refusing to make any food besides pizzas past 8:00pm. Refusing service to a customer without a genuine reason is not okay, and I suggest the manager rethinks who they hire to run this restaurant. Get employees who actually want to work, God knows there’s plenty of them. The dining service also sucks, no one greets you when you walk in the door, and it usually takes a good couple of minutes to get noticed by an employee. My daughter has said it makes her feel unwelcome, and not comfortable at all. I highly suggest finding employees that want to make people feel welcome coming into your restaurant. Needless to say, I am not coming back.

This is such a well kept secret in Wilmington!! The food, service and ambiance was Amazing!!!! I highly recommend the pizza, pasta, burgers and gelato! Everything tasted amazing and was served in a decent amount of time. Bonus that they have a full service bar, trivia night and a robotic server that brings your food and sings!!! The kids loved it!!! Treat yourself to this restaurant the next time you want to go out- you’ll be glad you did!!!
