“I cannot recommend Burney's (Wilmington location specifcially) enough! The owner, Anthony, is incredibly kind and generous. I used them for my wedding desserts and got 6 flavors of croissants, cake balls, white wedding cake and a 15 layer caramel cake. Several people told me it was the best wedding cake they have ever had. My only regret is not getting more croissants because they were gone SO FAST - people are still talking about them! Not only was the quality of everything amazing (as it always is when I'm just visiting the store), but everyone was so kind and helpful. I did several tastings and this one was by far the best (in flavor and service), they have so many options, are super customizable, have a reliable staff - truly everything you could want in a local bakery or a wedding vendor!“

“Located in the cargo district very easy to find free parking plenty of flavors to choose from and the flavors are absolutely delicious. We share them with our whole family and just ate about the whole half dozen reasonably priced. We will absolutely be back again such a cute atmosphere you can tell she puts love into what she bakes. The flavors are just so perfect. You can mix and match so we could do all the same this time we mix so much and just tried a bunch of different ones. The pecan one was so good along with the vanilla one and the chocolate one. 10/10 recommend.“

“Wow!!!! Just amazing!!! I could not get an order to go through online nor could my daughter so went to store. Line was long so knew it would be a long wait to get my order ready. Got the order in, they were so nice and went above and beyond for me. Said it would be about an hour, which I fully understood being how busy they were. I was going to wait in car and gave them my number to txt when ready. I want ya to know in less than 10 minutes they brought my order out to me!!!!!!!!! I couldn’t believe it. Sooooo unbelievable!!!! Thank you so so much!!!!! Those teachers at Belville Elem. are loving their treats I’m sure!!!!!! Thank you so much again I truly appreciate all your great customer service!!!!!! “Was gifted a drink from a friend on 10/30/25. She brought it to me at a place I was volunteering. Unfortunately, it tasted so bitter and not good. It was an iced latte. I called to tell what happened and ask if I could come get a replacement when I was finished . The person I spoke to was extremely rude asking for a receipt (it was bought by a friend for me). I told her I didn’t have a receipt but I could bring the drink back . She then asked me the name of the person who bought it. I told she paid cash at the drive thru so she wasn’t asked her name. I had to go so I just said “forget it” . I was so aggravated so I called this morning. I spoke to Georgia. I explained what happened, and without hesitation she told me to come for a replacement. She was so friendly. I really appreciated Georgia’s desire to help me!!“

“We love the Port City Java location on Market Street. We are not locals, but you can tell that many of the AM customers are as the staff was greeting them by name. We had tea, coffee, and muffins. There is an ample selection of teas, coffees, muffins, and breads. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. The staff is super friendly. Free refills is just an added bonus!“
