My favorite ice cream shop is the one I visit every time I stop by Mayfair.
I'm not a big ice cream person, but the people in my party who are raved about the quality, taste and price!
Just too good - a hidden gem in Wilmington. Our faves are double cookies and cream, lime pie, and strawberry shortcake.
Great selection of ice cream and the waffle cone was delicious as well. I would definitely come back here again when I'm in the area again. Quick and friendly service.
Homemade and delicious! Lots of flavors! Vegan options as well
EXCELLENT ice cream. The rating I’m giving does not reflect the quality of the ice cream, rather, it was affected by how the manager was treating their employees in front of customers. Straight up disrespectful, demeaning, and demanding. Was yelling at employees while we were ordering. No employees have name tags so I do not know their name, but they had blue hair. Try making a more positive experience for customers on vacation next time.
The shake was so so
Our first visit to the area and first time trying Boombalattis. We tried the banana pudding, coffee, and the cinnamon caramel oatmeal cookie flavors and they were amazing! 100% recommend a stop here for your sweet tooth needs.
8 vegan flavors when we visited, all coconut based. The 4 flavors we tried were pretty good though the coconut flavor remains p distinct.
Dedicated Vegan section with 8 flavors on rotation each day. Fantastic homemade ice cream. Plenty of seating.

Worth the long line. The Vietnamese coffee was very good.
Loved the ice cream! I was super excited to find a place that the ice cream wasn’t filled with food dye! Even happier to read that the ice cream is made from milk and cream from grass fed cows local to NC! Definitely a place we will revisit when in the area!
One fo our 4 boys dropped theirs on the ground before we even paid and the girls working gladly replaced it and didn’t make us pay even though we offered because it was our fault. Such great service!
Great flavours to choose from. Very personable servers. Definitely worth the cost though I didn’t really think it was expensive
Parking: This one is downtown but have been to the other on Military cut off. Much busier so there’s a little wait but also worth the wait
Kid-friendliness: Absolutely !

Has anyone else been here lately and noticed a really strong sewage smell? It’s displeasing when you are eating ice cream for the location to smell like a porta-potty every few seconds.

We loved this ice cream spot! There were a ton of very unique, seasonal flavors. And they were all really great! They make some of their own flavors, and they have a ton of mix-ins, which I loved. They also made our dog a pupcup, which he really appreciated. The staff was so friendly and nice. We will definitely be back.
