Brixx Wood Fired Pizza + Craft Bar

This seems to be an epidemic in Wilmington, but this place is not worth your time. I have never been somewhere that allowed customers to sit for 25 minutes without as much as a hello. It’s prime time Saturday, the building is half full, and the manager won’t acknowledge you. Just skip this place.

Four of us had items missing from our menu order items : I didn’t have any goat cheese on my apple/walnut/goat cheese salad, 2 were missing arugula from their pizza combinations, and the last had no cilantro on her pizza. When this was pointed out to the waitress she seemed reluctant do anything about it (I suggested she let the kitchen manager know that incomplete menu items were leaving the kitchen). She did go back and checked and reported that they were out of cilantro…so that explained one of the errors (Harris Teeter is nearby and a quick trip would have solved that issue for the restaurant). They also were out of CO2 so no draft beer was available . The other mistakes were explained with a shrug. I previously have enjoyed Brixx, but will avoid it for some time hoping that they straighten out the kitchen staff and oversight.

We were seated as soon as we got there (pretty slow night), but sat for 25 minutes and no server came. This same server walked past our table like 4 times and didn’t say anything, nor did she when we walked out right in front of her!

I get it if we aren’t your table, but at least have decency to get someone to! So unprofessional, won’t be back.

Courtney S was phenomenal!!!!! Her service was impeccable. The wings, salads and tiramisu were amazing?☀️Thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Will definitely be back!!!

Pizza and wings were amazing. A great place to go for dinner if you are planning to see a movie at the theater a couple blocks away!

My daughter, husband and myself popped in for lunch to try something new out. We were seated near the bar and the bartender was also servicing the tables near the bar first of all they seemed understaffed to where it affected our experience it took about a good 8 min to get drinks. She was very standoffish and lacked people skills. We ordered appetizers and lunch and it was Ok the spinach dip lacked flavor chips were quite broken up as if they were the crumbs of the bag. Pizza was OK. Nothing exciting slices were not cut evenly was so ever lemonade tasted as if they pour the entire bag of sugar in it I ordered a water and took another 6-7 min to get a mater to dilute the lemonade.

Service was horrible, experience was not very good and the inside of the restaurant was very plain and simply.

One word review… boring.

I won’t be visiting to the lack of interaction or people skills within the staff we experienced today.

Excellent location, plenty of seating options and a genuine fire grilled pizza. Customer service is ok, but sometimes it seems rushed. Food is excellent and you have to try one of their pizzas.

Brixx has consistently been a place to go for quick service, good food, and high quality. I prefer their chicken wings to the pizza, but both are delectable.

This is an excellent stop before enjoying a movie at the Mayfair Regal Cinema.

Pizza was good it could have been cooked a little longer. I won’t order the margarita again. It was the end of the busy dinner rush. It took a while for our server to greet us and then a long time for our drinks. The food came out quickly.
