This restaurant has amazing reviews so I brought my hubby here to try it together. Upon arriving I saw that the restaurant was featured on the show Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives so I was very excited to try it. I ordered the corn beef hash, hubby ordered the biscuit with chicken, bacon gravy ( the entree that Guy Fietti tried on the show) and a pancake. The portions were large and the presentation was above average! When I bit into a bite of my corned beef hash the flavors were off. The potatoes had a strange flavor and were not crispy. The flavor of the corned beef was good but all other elements of the hash (egg, beans, and cabbage) were not cohesive to the dish and did not add any great flavor to the corned beef. My husband said his biscuits tasted slimy. We realized that the gravy and the over easy egg yolk mixed together to create a texture nightmare. A slimy tasteless gravy. There is no need for an over easy egg on top of gravy. And on to the pancake, it tasted like Bisquick to me, but it was good and I enjoyed eating it the most. Overall I felt tricked when I came to this restaurant. The reviews don't match the true food and flavors at this establishment. Also I learned just because restaurant is reviewed on Food Network doesn't mean it's truly a good place to eat.

This place was recommended by my Airbnb host, service was awesome. I went early on a Sunday before the crowds came. Was seated right away. I opted for the meatloaf sandwich and a pancake on the side. The sandwich had a nice flavor but was a bit dry for my liking. The grits were delish and creamy and piping hot. Prices were reasonable.

This is the only place to go to for brunch in my opinion! My husband and I are both from Massachusetts and never in my life would I have told you that my favorite brunch item is fried chicken and waffles! This is THE ONLY place to go to brunch! My husband regularly will order the dirty south biscuit and we both are never disappointed! The service is always super quick, the mimosas are always the best and the wait staff are absolutely fantastic!

I live near Emerald Isle and drive down to eat here! Best Bloody Mary's. I always get the pulled pork red eye gravy. I want to try more items, like the meat loaf.

After seeing them on Triple D and knowing we had an upcoming dance competition in Wilmington we knew we had to go here. We're a family of breakfast food connoisseurs. I'd describe the atmosphere as down home. Like having breakfast on the front porch of a farmhouse. Food choices definitely match the decor. They're focus is on breakfast favorites. Staff are awesome n everybody seemed happy to be there even on the Sunday of St Patty's Day weekend. I tried the dirty south biscuit cuz why go to a Triple D recognized restaurant and just get boring eggs and bacon? This place was worth every dime. We'll go back next time we're in town.Parking: Located in a newer strip mall i'd say it was fairly easy to park here, but then again its a Sunday, everyone's still hungover from St Patty's and we went closer to opening. Not sure what it's normally like to park

Hands down one of the best breakfast joints in town. The food is consistent, they have not wavered since opening, they are always packed, and for good reason! When you wake up dreaming of their hash, has-brown potatoes, warm blueberry muffin, or the insane cinnamon roll, you know you've found a winner of a restaurant!

The cinnamon rolls are over the top delicious. It tasted like biscuit doe rolled into a cinnamon roll and smothered with frosting. The pulled pork hash was amazing and so was the fried chicken biscuit with gravy. Go hungry for sure!
