This is the only place to go to for brunch in my opinion! My husband and I are both from Massachusetts and never in my life would I have told you that my favorite brunch item is fried chicken and waffles! This is THE ONLY place to go to brunch! My husband regularly will order the dirty south biscuit and we both are never disappointed! The service is always super quick, the mimosas are always the best and the wait staff are absolutely fantastic!
After seeing them on Triple D and knowing we had an upcoming dance competition in Wilmington we knew we had to go here. We're a family of breakfast food connoisseurs. I'd describe the atmosphere as down home. Like having breakfast on the front porch of a farmhouse. Food choices definitely match the decor. They're focus is on breakfast favorites. This place was recommended by my Airbnb host, service was awesome. I went early on a Sunday before the crowds came. Was seated right away. I opted for the meatloaf sandwich and a pancake on the side. The sandwich had a nice flavor but was a bit dry for my liking. The grits were delish and creamy and piping hot. Prices were reasonable.
