Me and my friend both ate here the other night and we both had the same thing (the birria tacos) And not even 20 minutes later, we both start getting lightheaded and feeling sick and the next day We both have stomach cramps and are vomiting and have fevers. I don’t know if it was a bad batch, but we eat them at every other place in Wilmington and are usually perfectly fine.

Very authentic tasty Mexican food. Counter service. Clean establishment.
In addition to a great lunch entree, the salsa is wonderful ! Right across from Target in town.

We got the asada and fish gorditas. Delicious! Also got the 3 street tacos. Larger than your average street taco sizes. Was surprised by the complementary large tray of freshly fried chips and salsa. So much food. We are from San Diego and was impressed by the quality and generous portions. Will keep coming back!

The food was ok but the primary cause for the bad review was due to the service and pure lack of professionalism. My wife has a food sensitivity to anything made with sour cream. When the food was brought out it was drowning in sour cream(no sour cream was depicted in description or picture on menu). My wife explained her sensitivity to server so she took the food back to the kitchen, wiped the sauce off, flips it over, and brought it back like it was a new dish. Naturally in most professional settings, especially in the food industry, this is an unacceptable practice. So my wife took food back again and asked for a refund and no replacement dish.
The second part is the most appalling. While we were still there, my wife left a review reflecting our experience. The manager finally came to our table and expressed his disapproval of our review and that we need to change it. Not one ounce of remorse for the misunderstanding but rather he narcissistically made it seem like it was my wife’s problem.
As a fellow business owner I have been in the wrong before and did everything I could after the fact to make my customers experience better. I have never spun things around to try and make them feel dumb. This is a poorly ran establishment and we will not be back.

Good service is hard to find, I understand, but when my quesadilla came with sour cream all over it that was not depicted on the menu board and I requested one without it I was given my same quesadilla back flipped upside down so I couldn’t tell they just scraped it off and did not remake it according to the photo depiction. It is sad when the quality of food is great but the terrible service outweighs it.
Update: I did end up returning my food and getting a refund from the server. HOWEVER, I placed this review prior to leaving the establishment and the manager promptly came up to me asking if I left a review and borderline reprimanded me for doing so. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

This place opens at 11:00 am, didn’t get in till 11:28 am. Reason for opening late was said that they were still preparing the bar? The agiachile they served me had 5 shrimp. Spent $20 on a place that doesn’t even have a lunch menu. DO NOT EAT HERE!!

their sign says they open at 11. I came at 11:10 and the doors were all locked. no one seemed to be inside.
Fantastic fooooood, and stellar staff. The tacos are fantastic and they have a cilantro, lime, and radish bar. The tamarind and horchata are great! Definitely recommend!
