is sometimes great with lean pulled meats.. then other times it's terrible with all of the fat left in the meats, disgusting. please pull the fat out and cook the pulled meats longer.. the sides are always amazing though tbh

They redud our fried pickles, but it was me who was a half hour late because i went to the wrong place! No sweat! Gracious servers.
I ordered the brisket and cornbread. The brisket was tender and the Sweet City Sause tasted amazing. My fried ordered the barbecue chicken which looked good. he said the chicken, green beans and baked beans were delicious. I will definitely be back and recommend this restaurant.

My fiance and I moved back to Wilmington last year from Durham where we lived the past few years and frequented City BBQ. I also worked for Orange County and we often used them for catering and were never disappointed! So happy a favorite spot of ours is now in Wilmington - highly recommend Nashville chicken sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, brisket Philly, and fried okra!
