I went to City BBQ on a Thursday night with 7 friends right at close and they were so accommodating and the food was great. I have to shoutout Riley for the great service, him and his staff were incredible.
First bbq since moving back to NC from the PNW. I nearly cried. The pulled pork was sooooooo tender. It struggled staying on my fork. And the peach cobbler? 🤤 The only reason I took off a star on food was the corn pudding could've been creamier and had more spices. Also, the cole slaw needed more pepper, imo. Luckily salt/pepper can be added by the customer. Overall, great bbq experience coming back from a flavor wasteland.
This place is great. I frequent the Cary location and when I mentioned I’d be traveling to Wilmington for a family trip they told me about this location. Food is great. The turkey breast was exceptionally yummy!
