My friend rented the VIP out for her wedding after party. The atmosphere was great and the staff was amazing! Forever grateful for the GM (I think her name was Debbie?) you are the real MVP!

The only thing that was 80s in this club was the DJ. they played nothing from the 80s and 90s. There were other couples desperate to dance and there was a lot of modern music because that’s all he played. I was very disappointed. I hope my review will somehow reach out to the owner to stop the false advertising

The general Manager Melissa is super nice, professional and helpful. I don’t really go out at all because I don’t like being around too many people. Melissa offered us a VIP table. The VIP section is very comfortable and spacious. The drinks were delicious especially their famous FishBowls. Their lemon drop Shots is what brought me back to Coglins. The Music is all 80s 90s which I love. All the employees are very welcoming, the bathrooms are very clean. I love how they have different events it brings me out of my shell and I’m being more comfortable going out and dancing. I give this nightclub 5 ⭐️ and I’ll definitely recommend this to anyone celebrating any kind of event.

On March 20, 2024 my mom, Denise Wood, got hurt on your property in Wilmington. She was hired by Tym to paint at the new Tap Yard location.
Her injuries were catastrophic and life changing. She has had five surgeries and will be having more.
I know that the original workers comp claim was denied due to there being no “relationship”. There was a relationship though and my mother was hurt on your property.
I have done my research and we have decided that if we can not come to some sort of resolution then we will have no choice but to go another route other than a worker’s compensation case.
I would appreciate it if you could contact me by whatever method is easiest for you.
If I don’t hear from you within the next few days, I will move forward with sharing the information I have, photos, voice recordings of phone calls, other employee statements and just our general experience with the media, locals in Wilmington and a personal attorney to go after each person individually.
Again, I don’t want to have to do this because I do believe that yall are good people. My mom is a good person too though and she does not deserve this.
Please do the right thing. Show us that you are in fact a man with integrity like you present yourself to the world. Integrity is what you do when no one is watching.

We had such a good time last week after our friend's wedding we went back this week! Super cool 80s decor, great drinks, the bartenders were super nice and funny. The best thing was the dj! He was energetic and engaging. I heard every hit song of my life! He was very friendly and worked in our requests when he could. I can't wait to go back.

Having spun in Wilmington clubs from 1977-1990 I was very disappointed in the music here. It wasn't even "OK"....it was terrible. Additionally, the DJ doesn't mix. We stayed for 1 drink, which was long enough to realize it sucked. Huge disappointment and they're definitely missing a market!!!!!!
